Mark also hates it when people use the term 'emo' to describe how they're feeling. For example:

the outside lights go on to the house nextdoor at exactly the same time every night. i see them acting out their lives in shadows sometimes in their rooms. there's a couple that walks their dog every night, and they stop to kiss every twenty yards or so. sometimes the boy nextdoor will leave his computer on. the screen saver says "hello...hello..." and it's the loneliest thing i've ever seen. it looks like it should be cold, but walking outside is like breathing in water because of all the humidity. the streetlights have turned to floodlights. i still miss you. you're less than a mile away now.

I've been in California with my friend for the past week. It was...unplanned? We had to sleep on the streets for two days because we spent all our money on shows and pants. But we made it. We're fucking morons. And let me tell you, seven days without the computer for this geek was hell.
