This is what I wore to the town parade today.

This was me going half assed on my pirate gear. I didn't have my hat, but I wore my coat, corset and pinned up my crushed velvet skirt (which you can't see very well). Also, someone made a post a while back about hair do's. I left some info about hair scrunching and told her to watch for my next ootd. I scrunched my hair in these pics, but by the time the pics were being taken it was falling a bit flat. HOORAY PIRATES! (More pics to come of next time ;D)

This bento was made with the other two (which was inspired by sarakate!). It was last night's dinner.

Weird thing is: this bento tasted like McDonalds. o.o It was really good, but very strange. XD

Hi! I'm new to the Bento stuff, I've been a member for a couple of months and haven't posted any of mine. Mostly, I use the large lock and lock boxes I got at Wal*Mat, but what I really want is a cute bento box but I have a couple of problems. Mostly, I've seen the little ones and it doesn't seem like they would hold enough food. Is there a larger size bento? Also, I have no idea where to get them... there are a few websites I've seen, but I can't tell how large the boxes are.

Also, I need one for my husband of the same size, but that isn't cutesy, y'know?

Top tier: mystery onigiri, edamame, mashed cauliflower, red and yellow bell pepper, liver underneath

Bottom tier: peanut butter and honey sandwich, fruit leather, dried cranberries

Hello all,

This is my first post, however I've been watching this community since June.
I use Spectra and 600 film for my polaroids, mostly Spectra and I'm totally in love with polaroids (and heartbroken over their discontinued state).

For the last 1048 days I've taken one Spectra polaroid to "capture" each day. This is the photo from today.

Hey, I've been making some bento lunch sets to sell and I thought you guys might be interested. I'll be adding more in the next few days.


These are more stylish than childish. I know some people want a cute lunch, but want something more grown-up looking. I have some more cutesy ones that I'll upload in the next couple days.

WOW! They both sold in about an hour!

My boyfriend purchased me a bento set from ebay. It is Stitch themed.

No idea why, but the camera refused making a sharp picture of this bento, which I made before going to work. As usually, whenever I eat (as I am supposed to) before work, we get some food on the location. ..But it was till good to have this small box to munch on during the ride home. ^^


Nori-wrapped plain rice onigiri, coffee-filled chocolate, Babybell cheese, steamed broccoli and carrots & various cured fish
After taking this picture and closing the box, I decided that I want to fill it more, so that everything inside will sit more tightly, and added two radishes ^_^

whats a good moleskine for a beginner? cx
i want one really bad, but im not sure what kind would be good for me.

or are they just really all the same? :(

Here's a little tip:

I've always loved ramekins (the little ceramic containers that you get sauce n stuff in at restaurants, for example), even before I knew about bentos. And I've found that they can really come in handy when trying to put together a nice lunch.

Well, shame shame shame on me, but lots of times, I would just take them from restaurants. Eventually, I asked a server, because I was afraid I was getting them in trouble or something. He said not to worry about it - that half the time they just throw them away anyways!

So I'm not necessarily suggesting that you start stealing... But if you go to a restaurant, and you like the thing that your condiment is served in, if you ask, your server might have no problem with you taking it home with you! Hope that's helpful :)

The Burns Sisters - out of this world. I want NEED this CD. I can't find it anywhere for download and the tape I had, finally broke down. I fucking love this album : it's right up there with Mary Chapin Carpenter's stones in the road. It's also one of the few CDs that can make me relax big time. So, tomorrow, I'm going to order it, with my birthday money.

And then I'm going to rip it, upload it and fucking well share it. It's not often that an album sticks in my mind like that, so I genuinely do feel the need to share. Have another link, with reviews.

top: plain rice onigiri, spicy curry, and a hot pepper from the garden
bottom: carrot sticks, blueberries, cherry tomato, and a leftover crab rangoon from last night's dinner.

First post for me, but most certainly will not be my last.
Lizard made bentos for both her sister and herself for the first day of school back in August.

These were made the night before so parts were put in plastic bags to sit out until placed lovingly into their prospective boxes. Included are from top to bottom: cheetos, cut up baby carrots, cucumber hearts, and kiwi hearts, and empty space for the cheetos, a silicone cup of heart shaped peanut butter and grape jelly sammiches, and in the lid we have bear friends cookies. I think she did an awesome job. I was unable to be there for their first day or to help then with their very first bento as I was out of town working. She took this picture with her cellphone and sent it to me.
