I don't think this vacation could have been better.
tennis, oc, anne and mel, night hoops, MA.

let me just break down the weekend for you:

Friday: My dad and I peaced out of the ville very early. He made a bunch of mixed CD's and it was a great ride down. We ended up stopping at Merrimack in North Andover. We didn't plan on stopping there but I was curious because it's where Mel, John, and Susie are going next year. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!! It surprised both my dad and I because we didn't really know anything about it. But the campus was beautiful and clean and all of the kids that were around looked really nice. So that was exciting and started our college visits off on a good foot. Then we arrived in Worcester. MY HOMEEEE<3 It is a ridiculous city. but I love it love it love it. How can you not love the place you were born? So we checked into the hotel. (room was amazing btw) and then we roamed around Woo. We went and looked around Holy Cross. It was very overwhelming, but it was beautiful in it's own way. Basically, my father and I should not be allowed in places like that...after looking around a bit he goes "we should go back in that building and I will take a picture of you walking into the president's office" I was like "uhh. that would be awkward" and he goes "BAHA WHERE'S YOUR SENSE OF ADVENTURE? This is Holy Cross, you're suppose to terrorize" Good. So we took pictures. and then he proceeding to run around all of the buildings to give me a "tour" he used to go up there all the time when he was at Clark to party. real nice dad. sometimes he would take me into like, a classroom or a dorm and I'd be like "I don't think we are suppose to be in here." He'd just go "Pshh, I went to Clark." It was a good time, besides the Rotten Fish Trees. Don't ask. Then we went over the LEE'S BAKERY! THE MOST AMAZING LEBANESE BAKERY IN THE ENTIRE USA I SWEAR! My dad used to go there all the time when he lived in Worcester. To the point where when we moved to Scarborough he would have Lee send packages of food in the mail. haha. You can't help but love Lee though, she is amazing. She this little foreign lady. She's quiet, but in the end she always remembers you. I have never been to Worcester without going to Lee's. It is this tiny run down building. Little tiny place. But she can COOK. Baklava, grapeleaves, babaganoosh, zahtah bread, feta cheese bread, kibbe, taboolie. Amazingness. Then we went to Clark and I met up with brobro Marc. Dad went to dinner with Bob Kelleher (at the One-Eleven Chophouse. lucky.) so Marc and I just hung around for a few hours. We went down to the soccer field to see part of a scrimmage going on. It was his team, but mostly just sophomores and freshmen. Then he proceeded to give me a good tour and introduce me to all of his friends. Like Joe and Ryan and others that I had heard about all four years. We walked all around Clark and Maine South. (the neighborhood around Clark) It's not the best, I admit...you obviously would not walk around by yourself at night or anything but I it was fun going around with him. After walking all the way to Fantastic's We went to eat at the UC The food wasn't as bad as he let on. I met the guys who played on the soccer team...they seemed cool. We also ran into Mike Harris! Which was great because I hadn't seen him in almost 2 years. Then we sat and waited for my dad in Red Square. We sat next to Sigmund...haha. and watched the African royalty go by. Don't ask. My dad was late. Marc jumped up a street pole. Some guy laughed. My dad came back, and him and I went back to the hotel. We watched Secondhand Lions and went to sleep?

Saturday: Continental Breakfast. Headed over to Clark for part of Junior Preview Day. The student panel was really cool. Everyone at Clark seems really down to earth, I love it. Stavroula and her mom were there. So we stayed for student panel and info session, then drove to Amherst. I won't lie, it was beautiful. But I was really tired, and basically couldn't handle looking at another school. so we only stayed for about 40 minutes. THEN WE WENT BACK TO LEE'S lovelovelove. We got everything I mentioned above. We were planning on having a feast. Erika couldn't come. but Marc did. We got so much food. It was delicious. Then we watched some old movie on TV and went to bed.

Sunday: Mostly just driving. We were going to go see BC. but we didn't want to. So we drove...and we stopped at Borders/Pizzeria UNO in Portland. It's so good to be home. I'm tired, and I need to read Faulkner like it's going out of style. But later Kels is stopping by because it was her birthday yesterday and I have a little somethin' somethin'.
