A Merry Christmas to everyone!~ Technically I'm supposed to work today (Taiwan does NOT give Christmas days off), but I took a day off anyway. Now is the time I miss my old job, when my employer gave me a week off just because things were always slow around the holidays.

* It's been really cold in Taipei, so much that I don't want to get out of bed in the morning. I need to invest in a small bedside heater or something.

* I wasted two hours of my life last Sunday when my mother forced me into going into a lunch with her friends and their children, all in an attempt to get me to 'socialize'. Sorry mom, but that's not going to work, especially when I have nothing in common with them, not even if they're somewhat close to my age.

* This applies to me SO SO much. Mediocrity FTL.

* I'm craving Mexican food, Spanish tapas, bacon, GOOD steak. And mangoes. *sigh*

Wow, has it really been a month since I last posted?

A month ago, some friends came to visit me from Canada. I have pictures, but I've been too lazy to actually upload them anywhere. I took them to some of the touristy places around Taipei, like the night market, 101 building, the museum, etc. I had lots of fun, but I also seriously tired myself out, and the following week I came down with the flu.

Took two and half days off, then went back to work because if I don't do that, I'd never catch up.

>.> I finally caught up a few days ago, only for my boss to dump MORE stuff on me. *sigh* On the other hand, I got a 2% pay raise, and I've only been on the job for 6 months.

I wish Taiwan believed in more public holidays, because I don't even have Christmas off. Well, I have it off, but only because I'm taking it off using my vacation days.

My mom says I should go back to Canada in another year. I can't believe I'm actually considering it.

In the last month, I also have a new obsession. It's called transformers. I thought 3 weeks would be enough to get that out of my system and back to my old stuff, but it's still going on. URGH.

- Friends are coming to visit me from Canada next week! It's too bad they're staying during the weekday but HR says I actually CAN take some days off starting this month so I'm taking Tuesday and Wednesday off to go around Taipei with them.

- An almond/chocolate donut makes everything better~

- I've started trying out Tinier Me, which is kind of like Gaia, except less wank and garbage and better graphics. Made one account of 'me', and another account of 'Tieria Erde'. XD I think I might go back to my tenipuri roots and make one for Yagyuu. Or Tezuka.



Tieria has blue hair simply because I can't find purple hair and the exact hair style. But the eyes and glasses are spot on!

My domain name has expired (which was provided to me free of charge from my last employer).  While I like my last employer, they're also kind of expensive...

So any recommendations for domain name and web hosting?  I don't need something like virtual private server (while it will be amazingo play around with, I really don't have the time to mess with it like I should).

Mia has suggested hawkhost, which has gotten some good reviews.  Anyone else can give me some suggestions?

*I've started playing Final Fantasy Dissidia this weekend. I've started the keysmashing my way through already as I truly fail at fighting games. We shall see how long this can last.

* I'm plodding along my way through Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. (Got a DS pretty much for this game.. >.>). And I totally get why some people call Roxas a zombie at the beginning of the game.
