BioI'm Rupert Giles, though I prefer to be called "Ripper."
I was "recruited" by the Council of Watchers after I was caught using the Treatise of Calabra to summon demons. Seeing as the Council hadn't even been able to translate the title properly because the Calabran language died out thousands of years before humans learned to talk, they decided I was best "in their care."
I enjoy translating dead languages, summoning and binding demons, and rocking out to 70s Punk - before it became "new wave." I also like fencing, archery, and re-writing songs to make them much more amusing than they were intended to be.
