My headache is steadily intensifying. However, despite the fact the Potentials have not gotten any quieter of late, this particular headache is hardly their responsibility.

I have just learnt of Angelus' return.

One must do what one must for the sake of the greater good (even gather gaggles of head-ache-inducing teenage girls into houses with too few bathrooms), but I would have protested very much against bringing Angelus back. There must have been another way. For me the memory of the first time he lost his soul is all too clear.

I think this calls for something stronger than tea.

Even though you happen to be on the side of "good" I just thought I would drop by and say that I respect your intellect. It's nice to see someone around here who has read the classics and knows the difference between "Les Miserable" by Victor Hugo and "Les Mis" by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Although there's really no question that I would probably eat you if given half the chance, I am very pro-smarts. And definitely go for something stronger than tea; I think you're going to need it.

I'd bet Mr. Giles also knows the difference between Andrew Lloyd Weber and the people who actually *did* work on Les Miz:

ALAIN BOUBLIL (Conception, Book and Original French Lyrics)
CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHÖNBERG (Music and Book)
HERBERT KRETZMER (Lyrics)

I stand corrected. While I am completely pompous and arrogant, I can also admit when I am absolutely and utterly wrong.

However, that doesn't make me feel any better about classics being made into musicals. Although I will admit to being fond of West Side Story, a delightful interpretation of human tragedy. I especially like, "Gee, Officer Krupke!"

Mr. Giles, if you wanna come down t' Willy's, you can drink free tonight. I feel your pain. Angelus wasn't...well, let's just say that one night, when I spilled a little of a drink on the hand of his ladyfriend, I thought I was gonna see my father again, an' he's been dead since '85, bless his soul.

I still got a scar on my stomach from Angelus.

You want somethin' stronger than tea, it's on me.

'Something stronger than tea' seems to be a recurring theme lately, doesn't it? I know a Mr. Daniels and a Capt. Morgan who'd back you up in a second.

Oh, and my theory on Angelus? Not so much a vampire at all. Have you *seen* how much he's aged, even since that Thanksgiving with the syphilis? The whole thing's just a clever way to get away with murder...

Waking up to find you married Anya would be okay, but what if you found out the Disrespectful Minion had arranged adoption papers for you, you signed them, and you were legally Spike's Dad?

Wait, are you saying he's not Randy's dad?

Yes. I'm afraid that Mr. Giles is too young to be Randy's Dad. The jury's still out on whether or not they're related, though.

In fact, not only is Mr. Giles far too young to be Randy's dad, he's also far too young for Randy to be his dad.
