After a few minutes of "ohmygod, where did I put it, what did I name it"-type panic, I found my half (or 3/4) completed entry for avatar_exchange in a random folder in a random place on my computer.

After a few seconds of reading through the first two pages, I've now decided it's trash. Yuck. Gross. Reeeallly horrible attempt at depth and emotion. Whooeee. You know how when you first write something, you're like "This is pretty much the next great American Classic," and then you put it away for like 2 months, reopen it, and it sounds like some 11-year-old's first Mary Sue fic at ff.net?

That's pretty much what this was.

That epilogue? Remember the virus that attacked my computer about... I don't know. A year ago? Well we recently uploaded all our old files to our new computer, so I've got it. It's physically on my hard drive, but since I had that folder with my writing and fanfiction in it protected/locked, our new computer isn't really authorized to open it, so it's blocking me from all my own works.

It's very frustrating, especially since I was so hopeful about it. My dad's going to try and figure it out this weekend though, so hopefully that'll clear up soon and I can finally finally finish the darn thing.

I'm just scared that it'll disappoint everyone. Much the way HP7 epilogue did many fans.

And it's been such a long time. Maybe it might be better to leave as is.

I don't know.

Chapter 3 of HS is in the works. Oh, and it might not work out. I might just end up taking it down. It's supposed to be Zutara, yes... but the way that I imagine them... they are so different from canon Katara & Zuko that it might just end up being two people who are named Katara & Zuko, with nothing else all that much similar, personality-wise. Katara in-the-story doesn't act or sound like Katara from-the-show, at all. She's just so different. Lots more introverted--less caring and motherly and emotional, the way she's portrayed in the show. It's sort of leaving Avatar-verse and entering... my own world-verse. I could possibly take it down and revamp it as my own original work.

I don't know.

I love how these things happen during a week when I have an AP Spanish test, AP US History test, Pre-Calc test (all tomorrow) and an AP Bio test, AP Spanish presentation, and two Honors Humanities essays (all due on Thursday).

The world works in strange and mysterious ways.

A long long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, rashaka came up with a challenge with various song lyrics in the katara_zuko community, and I began a short reply. I can't find the original entry where she posed the challenge (help?) because it was from suuuuuch a long time ago, so I'm not positive if I fulfilled all requirements.

But yesterday, about 6 months from the day of her challenge, I finished it. First thing I've truly written in almost a year that wasn't a) for school or b) in my journal.

She still doesn't know that she sits next to me, RedNovember, everyday, first period, in Spanish III.

Who cares about TC...The least you could do is check your fucking reviews and tell us when you think the next chapter of anything will be out. Hurry the fuck up before Me and my friend copy your story and make up our own ending and post it on a different sight. Don't think that I won't becuz i've done it before and i won't hesitate to do it again.

Fanfiction is defined thus by Wikipedia:
