For all intents and purposes, my day went quite well, save for the slightly scorching sun I had to deal with, despite having on a hat to protect my head from the heat. As shown above, I found and bought two back issues from two different places in the city. Also bought myself lunch from Carl's Jr. as well, since I was near the intended area.
A friend of mine did something very decent this past week-he remembered how I was upset that I'd lost a magazine over a year ago, one that I'm still partially convinced he had a hand in, and bought me one from a yard sale for 10 cents. (Still a bit skeptical about that price, however.)
Upon returning home, my mother and I went out to celebrate her not being a part of something everyone seems to dread, and we got food from Panda Express for dinner-I had steamed rice, orange chicken and mandarin chicken; my mother got the same, but had fried rice instead of steamed rice.
One last thing: Came across these two pictures last night while searching www.titanstower.com and thought they were astounding-

The Teen Wonder looks exactly like he did back in The Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day; Wonder Girl looks like she did back in the Young Justice saga, save for the Teen Titan version of her costume. The artists for these pictures are-Ale Garza, who penciled The Titans/Young Justice 3-part miniseries saga, and Todd Nauck, who penciled the entire Young Justice run, alongside writer Peter David and inker Lary Stucker. (Can't believe I remember those names!)
