Halo 3 complete
Yay I finished the game on normal about 30 minutes ago! I have to say parts of it were really fun, other parts were extremely annoying and I just wished I'd stop dying, but I eventually made it through. I am not pleased with the ending though. I feel like something is missing from the story and it just kind of went to sleep, so to speak....

The ending is missing something...

...the extended ending on Legendary, not so much.

great now you're saying I need to sacrifice a whole other week (maybe month) in the name of legendary? I think I tried that in Halo 2, I didn't last very long!

I would be curious for an extended ending though....damn, I think I'll wait for us to get an LCD flat panel TV before I even attempt that road.

If you have Live, do it co-op. I can't beat legendary solo for sure, but co-op makes it a lot easier.

Or you could be lame and cheat and go to youtube. :P

I don't have live and no I can't be lame and check youtube, that's just against the rules. I'll have to try it co-op or give it a shot on my own. But I do have one question for you since you seem to know a lot. I finished the game and unlocked all the mission achievements and even two extra (used car salesman and fear the pink mist), but for some reason, even though I finished the third mission, it didn't unlock. I went back and replayed the level and I still didn't get it. I checked around a bunch of message boards and even Bungie's Q&A and I couldn't seem to find an answer as to why that happened. Any thoughts from you since you seem to be pretty well informed?

I'm determined to get those 20 extra points now, damn it!

ok so I didn't cheat, er well sort of...I went back and played the very last mission on Legendary so I could finish and see the extended ending and I am still disappointed. Oh well, such is the way with these things. I sure hope no one ever turns Halo into a big budget hollywood movie, because that will ruin the game for me for sure. I mean, I loved resident evil the game as cheesy as the acting was and I still watched all three movies, but I just wished it had never gotten to that point.

So anyhow, thanks for the comments. I hope you're well. I should get out more often...maybe play less video games and I will.
