In other news. Tesh and I are going to Oz in July to see her Dad.
Flight centre fucked our booking. Somehow their system going down, which they called "a problem with the airline" for the first 5 mins, on Friday meant that our tickets we booked on Tuesday werent booked at all, and that the reserved funds taken out of my credit card would be refunded.

Well after talking to the bank they wanted something in writting to refund the money back to me. I tried to tell them that they know the transaction was voided. As documented by them NOT paying flight centre and leaving the money in a holding account. They agreed to this. However much to mine, flight centres, and im sure your, surprise they will not refund the money without it in writting.
Thats right people. National bank will let anyone reserve funds against your accounts and/or credit cards, and instead of taking the money (which amounts to fraud/theft), they CAN make sure you never get it back.
GET A FUCKING CLUE! Youre a fucking bank for fucks sake. There are no identity issues here. I should be able to stop any payments I make, provided I do so in time. And vice versa, any recipient should be able to stop any withdraws/direct debits against someones account. Oh wait, the world DOES run like that.
Well apparently not at National. If you have a payment going through, and it gets cancelled halfway, you dont just let it sit there. Like the whole idea was to get the money into the holding account!

This long weekend Chris and my brother came around to lan. I got my warr from lvl 56 to 60, and 300 mining. 300 blacksmithing is about 3 years away >.<
We all exchanged many a movie/games/files etc.

I also saw Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theatres. It was pure awesome. And crazy as fuck.

Much drinking and eating was had all round. And now, for more.

So Cloverfield arrived today. YAY!
2 days before its released.
Also I have an email in my inbox saying that Harvey Birdman season 1 just got shipped. I expected to have to wait ages for my many pre, and back, ordered things to arrive. Not 3 days :)

Also the Cloverfield disc has "disc 1" written on it.
There is no, or any mention of, a second.
It may just be part of their whole "file" theme.

So I got vouchers from Lush for my Mum. And after paying 9-wtf-dollars delivery for them they still werent here yesterday. So I emailed them and outlined how disappointed by their service, citing they website that saying my order or 2 pieces of paper is still being processed and that I ordered it on Sunday 30 December 2007. I wasnt abusive, but obviously annoyed.
They emailed right back surprised and went off to track it down with NZ couriers.
I emailed back "oh NZ Couriers, thatll be why".
Anyway, they get back to me and say "its in the van, we'll call you at 4 and give you an update".
So at 415 I get a call and they have good news and bad news. The bad news is that the courier van got stolen. For some reason whenever I think of the word "van" i think of spelling it "vann". Oh yea, Final Fantasy 12. Anyway, the good news is she is having dinner hear here today and will drop them off for me oh the way there.
YAY.. LUSH is awesome.

On another note I have ordered Tabula Rasa. You run around and shoot shit. Thats a good game right there. From what Ive seen and heard its not as empty as Guild Wars, runs like SWG, casts like The Matrix Online, and doesnt leave you empty inside like WoW.

On yet an even cooler note, Farmer Pimp. Theyre a band of pure awesome. They have about 6 songs released so far. They have a bit more new content as yet unreleased for an album later this year. One of these new songs is called "El Roboto". I fell in love with it right away. Anyway, after trying to rip it from their myspace page and all my recording software fucking out I gave up and asked when itd be released/how I get it (cause amplifier.co.nz only has their other songs), and regardless of how much I did or didnt pay for this song Id still be buying their tasty album when it comes out. So anyway they get back to me and say "giz your email addy and we'll send you the mp3". Some people are just great all over.
You can listen to it on their myspace of course. Its sitting happily in my cache.

Level Update

This was the empty room. Now the crystal room. The converyor belt out of the 'tank' isnt moving, altho it easily could be, and will have the shock rifle at the end. A VERY drunk Chris thought up what to do with this room.

This is the updated Tank room. The smaller second tank is only half full and has a (non working) pipe hanging above it to fill it. To get out of the tank I put a barrel in it floating in the sludge. I also put a lot more barrels in. Close to finished now.

And this is the crate room, finally finished. The centre set of boxes will have the Flak Cannon on it. My brother suggested it was a good idea to have to sacrifice your height advantage to get one of the best weapons. Makes sense really.

Ok so Tesh in finally all moved in. Our place is awesome. Who would have thought that extra furnature is what my small place needed.

I now cook super aweseom teriyaki chicken. Go me!

Im gonna focus more time on getting my level done. The Crystal room centre piece is finished. There needs to be a LOT more decoration. I know that I'll go through, put all I want in, put in decorations, and my level will still be missing something. It needs a significant amount more detail. I think I may have to put in air ducts as well as god knows what. The walls need a bit of a change in places. Theyre too generic. I'll post more pics when I get the chance.

So I went to see Pundulum last night.
DJ Riddle played good music for awhile. Then some NZ band played crappy breaks for 45 mins. Then DJ riddle played breaks for 45 mins. So after 2 hours we are mighty bored and tired.
BTW we had seats at the rail on the upper seated area in the logan campbell centre, which was a great place to be.
Then pendulum came on and played heaps of good shit. Then stopped 1 hour in. Came back, did a 15 mins encore and left. Didnt play their most famous song (one of the only ones that has words in it: Tarantula).
So not worth $75.
It was also WAY too loud. The sound system couldnt handle any higher, and was having trouble at that volume.

Tesh is moved in. Big furnature gets moved this weekend.

My lvl's crate room is finished. The empty room is now a crystal room.

Work sucks hard.
Didnt get the job at ihug, by a hair.
Nina is the ultimate moral killer.
For you heroes players, shes undead so her moral is never negative, but she is the opposing faction to us sane people so we get -5 to moral, and therefore sometimes dont even get a turn cause we are so bummed.

Ok so this first one is of what I call the tank room. Its a vat of slime (time consuming slime Q_Q)

And heres a shot from behind the tank. Easily my favourite shot.

Now heres the pipe room. I dislike that thing in the corner. It almost looked better without the consoles. I may take them out and make it the MEGA-health spawn point. Atm a normal health spawns in that ring.

And now the crate room. Im thinking of making this into a storage room full of crates and wires. I LOVE the wires hanging from the ceiling light.

And this is a room I dunno what to do with yet. Any ideas?

Real quick update:

Finally got my game last tuesday. It is all kinds of awesome.

Applied for a new job, have an interview tomorrow.

The backup account I have for WoW that I have nothing on, and only got so as to eliminate all risk (bar theiving my money) from having a character power leveled, was hacked. I changed the password on them and now have an account I dont use, with a valid credit card recurring subscription. Lol

My guild now questions my ability to play a rogue cause I didn't play the first 54 lvls of this particular rogues life.
Fuck if thats true I must be the best Warlock on the planet. Ive had it a year, and its only lvl 15. Im gonna be a GOD!

My astronomy class has hard assignments. Making astronomical breakthroughs using the same techniques as they did 1-400 years ago, IN A WEEK, isn't exactly easy.
I was actually talked down to by someone because I only do that 1 paper, and they are doing 5-6. So I dragged them face first through the simple fact that I'm earning a craptonne and they aren't. God people are dicks. She had enough of the conversation at that point. With no attempt at redemption I was happy to affix the stamp "cunt0r" to her forehead and move on.

A lot more cunty stuff happened. A surprising amount in the last 2 days Ive been back at work. My boss wants me to tell her if there is anything, or rather anyone, thats prompting me to leave. I haven't yet thought how to say "Yea its you. You're painfully ill suited to this job. Your hoops I jump through are oddly shaped and nowhere near the universe of accounting, or any other school of higher learning".

Just got back from Ween.
Including 2 encores they played for over 3 hours. It was REALLY good. The 10 min drum solo was awesome.
1 girl was nice enough to take her top off. Boobs are always good (no bra). She later got on stage and flashed everyone the other things they hadnt seen yet.
So a great night.

I've been really pissed off at work lately. I dunno if its just me, or that all the BS has finally got to me (like having to just sit with my boss so she can 'get some work done' even though I'm always swamped, or helping her word emails, or correct her spelling... seriously, who needs 5 attempts to type their own 4 letter long name?(the first 2 tries being for trying to get a capital letter)).
