Taifu has just released Kawai Touko's Juste au Coin de la Rue (Ano Kado wo Magatta Tokoro). I love this author and this is a beautiful and romantic story. <3

I wasn't even sure if I had read this one before when I bought it. I recognised it after a few pages but I didn't remember the plot, so it was just like reading it for the first time. :-)

Yesterday I went to see Blood: The Last Vampire, the live-action movie adapted from the original anime. The flashback scenes were boring and inconsistent with the Blood + mythology, but the rest of the movie was awesome. ^_^

Saya fights Onigen and other evil vampires with the help of kickass classmate Alice, and damn, do I ship them hard! They act all slashy for the whole movie: eyefucking, hand-grabbing, blood-giving… ♥

It took me a few minutes to realise that Alice was played by Allison Miller (Michelle in Kings). So now we know that it's not because of the actress that Michelle is so dumb. XD

Kings is back, with lots of Jack/David scenes! ^__^

I think jPod is the geekiest series I've ever seen! ^__^ I discovered it thanks to yamazaki_inc. It's a Canadian show about young hot video game developers who keep talking about sex, including lots of LGBT stuff. \o/

All the characters are 200% crazy, the gory video games look painfully bad, and extras keep getting randomly killed. XD

I'm still traumatised by the fact that pot-growing-and-dealing Ethan's mother is played by Sherry Miller, who played Justin's mother in Queer as Folk.

1) The trailer kept making me want to slash John Connor and Marcus Wright, that would make for such an interesting story.
2) BB GQ MOTHERFUCKER Anton is all grown up in it as Kyle Reese. *glomps*

And I wasn’t disappointed, the movie was epic and those three characters were amazing! ^__^

I tried a chapter of the DOGS manga at some point and couldn't get into it. Now I've just seen the first OVA of DOGS: Bullets & Carnage and I'm still not quite sold.

At least, there's Ishida Akira in it, which is always a good thing. :-)

Best Pinto Interview Ever

I saw the movie Blood: The Last Vampire when it was first shown on French TV.

Later, I read the scanlation of one of the manga adaptations, Blood: City of the Night Walkers by Kisaragi Hirotaka (Innocent Bird, BrotherxBrother). ^__^ I will never understand how this violent shounen anime ended up with a yaoi manga adaptation, but I highly approve and need to reread it sooner than later! :D

Now, I've finally watched the anime Blood +. It was much better than the original movie because it was character-driven instead of action-driven. Of course, it didn't have yaoi like the manga mentioned before, not even between the Chevaliers. :-( All I could see was some incesty vibes between Kai and Riku (it reminded me a little of the Shin/Jun in Persona -Trinity Soul-) and the Diva/Saya vamp!twincest possibilities. ;-)

In the meantime, I learnt that the live-action movie would be released mid-June in France, so now I'm ready for it. Watch the trailer here. It's based on the original movie, not the series, but I still want to see the result.

OMG, they are so screwing each other! ♥

It's very different from what I expected from the title, but it might be even gayer, and I laughed so much the first time I saw it that I had tears in my eyes. XD

I've just bought World's End. Until I got the book in my hands, I hadn't noticed that "Dear Myself 2" was written in smaller font on the cover.

I actually prefer the first book because this one is darker. It's still a good read for fans of Eiki Eiki, though. :-)

I'm not going to watch a Fast and the Furious movie every weekend (actually, that doesn't sound like such a bad idea ^^;;), but that doesn't mean I can't watch another shiny movie with Michelle Rodriguez kicking ass in it. <3

So tonight I watched Blue Crush, a movie about surfer girls, and it was very enjoyable. Like a female version of Shelter, with more surfing, and I could totally feel the lesbian vibes in the first half of the movie. Then came the het love story, but it was pretty cool. Plus, Eden got all jealous over "her girl," so yeah, definitely femslashy. ;-)

So, this morning, I went to see Wolverine and it was great! I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy it since:
1) it was focused on Wolverine, whom I'm not interested in these days, and other characters I don't know much about,
2) the second X-Men movie was already about Wolverine, so it would be nice to get movies on someone else for a change, like Gambit *hints hints* or Pyro/Iceman.
The first X-Men movie is definitely my favourite. It was cool and fun instead of darkish. ^_^

Then, this morning, I went back to see the new movie. YAY FOR MORE EYEFUCKING! ♥ And manly fighting! XD
