Just got back from my 3-day, 10-hour-on-my feet trip from Washington, DC. What is not to love about a city that houses amazing museums?

On a not-so surprising front, Anderson Cooper came out.

And the best news is... my scholarship is upgraded into a full scholarship. I'm in a full ride!

Lately I've been trying photography, rediscovering my love for poetry and basically decluttering my life one step at a time

And I love it.

There's only one place in my mind: the Socotra archipelago, Yemen. The dragon's blood tree has long captured my curiosity, and I've heard about this rare pomegranate only grows in Socotra. The archipelago itself has been listed on as one of UNESCO's World Natural Heritages, and the honor doesn't come without reasons, does it? Endemic flora aside, Socotra also has people sharing news about its magnificent landscape and tourism richness. I'm so going to go there even if I have to cry blood for that. Hopefully with Cyber-shot HX5v, that is. :)
