Anime marathoning  
I ended up marathoning Gundam 00 Eps. 16-20 and Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou Eps. 5-7 last night. 00's Eps. 20 really, really turned me off I almost regreted watching. Well, 'almost'  was the keyword. Lyle, your characterization was such big disappointment. Give me back my Neil. Let's see what Sunrise could do with only a few  episodes more. I'm crossing my fingers so they won't rush and pack a lot of thing into low-brow simplification.

And Setsuna... you're officially the Death Bringer of CB now. First Tieria blamed you for Neil's death, and now Lyle for Anew's. If there's a Kurdish Former Guerilla Boy Adoption Group, I'll join. Seriously.

As for ZNY... why does simple anime with simple storyline could have so much power to move me? When Madara's real form curled around Natsume, who couldn't see him, and Madara's all quiet and thoughful... guh! And boy was I so happy with Eps. 7's last scene, the one with Madara's watching over Natsume. That's what I called worth my bandwith.

Somebody, give me a slash Madara/Natsume work or anything, please oh please?

I think it's the simplicity of Natsume that makes it shine. Have you watched Mushishi?

I'll check that. Regarding that both 00 and ZNY are going to end soon, I'll need some titles to fill up my soon-to-be vacant nighttime watching.

I've found that most people who like Natsume will like Mushishi and vice versa. So I will definitely recommend it. :D

Aah, I haven't watched ZNY ep 7! Why did Natsume can't see Madara? O.o
And wew, I cried quite a lot watching NY and ZNY. Maybe it's the simplicity that actually touching. I mean, yah, justru karna simpel malah qta jd bs lbh 'ngerasa' gt? Iunno XD;

Neeway gotta ask a friend for ep 7. Ep 6 ended in such a cliffy T.T

Why, yes, it's indeed the simplicity that makes it decently enjoyable. AS for why, Natsume couldn't see Madara because a youkai poisoned his eyes. In fact, he couldn't see any youkai at all. And while Natsume couldn't see him, Madara did something very suspicious: licking> blowing onto Natsume's neck. Boy did that make my imagination run wild. XDDD

I liked it that in the scene with Lyle taking his anger out on Setsuna, Tieria was there and didn't seem to know what to do. Maybe he remembered himself in the past XD
If Setsuna doesn't get a happy ending after all the abuse he's been getting, I'll rage.
As for the LylexAnew, super awesomely developed relationship, it so reminded me of that Newtype crap in Zeta. Well, Lyle is definitely not one ofmy faves in the show. I thought he was interesting at first, but now I'm kinda bored with his character, which may or may not change with later eps.
Anyways, it's still all good since Tieria's been consistently awesome this season :D I liked his little scene with Sumeragi in episode 20. It was cute.

I wasn't that much into season 1 of Natsume, but now I'm in love with this show. It's so simple and relaxing. And the amount of cuteness is almost lethal sometimes.

Big yes to Tieria's progress in S2. The way he just said "Stop" and didn't do anything to actually stop Lyle is just a thumb-up. And yep, Lyle/Anew is just, what, too fast. It's a relationship built and wrecked in speed-light pace. :<

Natsume occupies my weekly download, really. Guess I'm not the only one on the boat. :D

Natsume is now my second favorite show out of those currently airing (Gundamu is still first), followed by Casshern Sins and then Tytania. I haven't been watching much animu lately coz most series can't keep my interest for too long -_- So just switched back to movies lol. But Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou is just ♥.

Btw, epiosde 21 of 00 was great imo :D

I don't mind spoilers, really, though I prefer to watch like two or three episodes in a row. And I haven't watched 00 via livestream since, what, Eps. 8 or something? ^^;

Guess what, I'm not really into anime lately, haha... I guess if this continues, I'll end up losing my interest at all. *clutches at chest*

You know, I wouldn't be watching those livestreams if I wasn't such a hopeless Tieria fangirl XD I really like 00 (though I know I might get disappointed by it if they screw things up in the last few eps), but if Tieria wasn't in it, I wouldn't be this eager to watch it XD

I'm really into films now, but I hope I'll get my anime mood back. If not, I guess I'll at least finish rewatching Legend of the Galactic Heroes coz it's perfect and never gets boring XD

T-chan is one of only three main reasons I could stand 00. :D Why, yes, his maturity as a character is indeed interesting and worth-to-watch.

I'm not really hoping for a satisfying ending anymore, but I don't think it can be as bad as Destiny's. XD I only want more Tieria screentime in the last few eps coz one little scene per episode just isn't enough.

And much as I love Set-chan, I think he's been kinda...too cool? XD Whenever something happened that I thought would affect him somehow, he was like "whatever" lol. I like strong characters, but I want some drama involving my faves. >_>

But, yes, he's got some kind of flat characterization, I admit that. Let's see where the last five episodes will bring him to. ^^

I had the same reaction to Lyle, but I'm up to Ep 40+ now, and I think it gets better, if only slightly. ^^

Gundam was looking so bright and shiny...and then you hit episode 20 and and...you feel like killing a significant part of the CB crew (but definitely not Setsuna. Setsuna is making me glee in perpetuity.) Setsuna and maybe Tieria are the only ones I really enjoy watching most of the time. *tears* I miss the real Lockon Stratos

I'd be right behind you for the adoption group.


ZNY is so simple but very deep and emotional. That scene with Madara and Natsume...just ouch.
Is there actually a workign fandom for this series? (Because if so I want in.)

the only one I know is the LJ comm Yuujinchou. It's quite active and up-to-date, so I have no complain. :)
