Got back home after hogging a friend's dorm room for two days. It's always raining everyday, I see. Umbrella, my dear pretty umbrella, where are you when I need you? It's not funny to be stuck in a train station for two hours, you know. Oh well. I've just found that watching people going here and there were quite amusing. I mean, I could see, read and pretty guessed what they're thinking themselves.
...I'm weird that way, I know.
Anyway...
Name five series that you like but don’t want to read any fanfictions of and the reasons why.
1. One Piece, because I don’t have the heart to. One Piece is the single most enjoyable story of friendship and family I’ve ever read, and I don’t think I think otherwise so soon.
2. Star Wars, not even when Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan/Anakin or Han Solo/Leia are so tempting, no.
3. Sherlock Holmes, I’m serious. I don’t like fanfictions based on detective series, and this is also applied on Meitantei Conan, Tantei Gakuen Q, Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo, and even QED.
4. Any Vladimir Nabokov’s writings, because he’s my literary god, period. Give me critics or review on his writings, and I'll go pot and kettle.
5. Shaman King, seriously.
Name five pairings in fanfictions that you don't like and the reasons why.
1. Kira x Cagalli. You see, even from the first episode, they reminds me of Luke and Leia, and at that time I haven't even known that their relationship would be a nod to Luke-Leia's relationships. They make a wonderful team as siblings, and anything but that just doesn't work with me.
2. Al x Ed. Well, yes. Just NO.
3. Clow x Yue. Please keep me away from this. TouyaxYukito/Yue struck me as 'old married couple' from the moment they showed up, and that's it. Aside from the fact that I hate incest, TouyaxYukito/Yue is my first love, thank you.
4. Kira x Flay. Ewww. I don't like her even a bit. Die you, bitch.
5. Pass. *groan*
I so WAAAAANT this drama CD!!! --> Himeyaka na Junjou (ひめやかな殉情), originally by Sakiya Haruhi (原作: 崎谷はるひ). Seiyuu: Miki Shinichirou x Kamiya Hiroshi (三木眞一郎×神谷浩史). Someone, Gichil, Ade, Destin, anyone, wherever you are in that faraway land... please? *puppy eyes*
Oh yes, I want Sir Ian in The Hobbits, even if I has to fight the Tolkien Estate for that. ^^
