I buy pretty paper and stationery and can't bear to use them. I have lots of unfinished projects and start reading five books at a time and then only finish two. I seem really quiet and conservative and studious in class, but I'm completely loud and silly around my friends. Most people find it hard to believe that I listen to SOAD and other loud music, but I also love almost anything acoustic. I admit to being a nerd - my favorite subjects are bio and math. I'm not a girly-girl, but I love wearing skirts and super-dangly earrings. I like going barefoot and lying in grass and walking in the pouring rain. My favorite season is autumn and my favorite month is November. I live in California, but I'm really an east coast girl. I lived in New Jersey until I was fourteen. I love the snow. I'm the strangest neat freak you'll ever meet. I make lots of lists. My planner is my best friend. I'm oddly meticulous about my notes and work, and I hate when my papers are stained or smudged or creased, but my room is a complete disaster [although I know exactly where everything is]. Sometimes I'm compelled to clean my room at 2am. I miss the toys of my childhood. Little things make me happy. I'm not terribly difficult to please.

I post sporadically about random things. Mostly about colorguard, because it takes up the majority of my time. I like taking pictures and dancing [ballet and lyrical] and doing crafty things. I adore the feeling of yarns and fabrics. My current obsession is handspun/hand dyed/handpainted yarn. I love corduroy and polka dots. I like combinations of brown+pink or brown and pretty much any other color. My favorite color is ~~grey~~ brown at the moment. I refuse to spell grey with an 'a,' and I spell 'theatre' with an 're' for reasons unknown.

I collect postcards, and I really like getting mail/packages. E-mail, snail mail, doesn't matter.
