Welcome to the inner workings of Nikunja (or Kunji, if you prefer). I'm a fifteen year old junior in high school, and the biggest G.O.A.T. (Geek Of All Trades). An avid member of the high school mathletes, Science Olympiad team, newspaper and yearbook, I consider myself a study-holic. I am completely obsessed with my grades, and I study to no avail. One might say that I am the incarnation of Hermione Granger. Just like Hermione, I have a few very close friends and am always thirsty for a good read. Books are my life; they always have been and always will be. The book(s) that are the most major part of my life? Well, Harry Potter of course ;) So come, explore my world...I'm always looking for a new friend ;)

I was born in India, in the small town of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh (man, what a mouthful huh?) My family and I then moved to Nairobi, Kenya (in Africa), where I lived for about three years. Soon after, my father found a very promising job oppurtunity here in the United States, resulting in our move to Bay Shore, Long Island (in New York). The company didn't prove to be too promising, however, and we were forced to move back to India not long after. My father soon found a job in Africa once again and we moved there. Not long after, my father's old boss from the United States phoned us and asked us to come back...which we did. So currently, we live here on Long Island and plan to stay here at least until I graduate. After travelling so much, I've met many different people in many different walks of life, but by no means do I think this adventure is over. I'm always thirsty for new friendships and I'm always excited to meet new people.

Reading, writing and music are my passions. But I have one obsession above all, though: Harry Potter. It invades any and every aspect of my life... I would not be able to live without my Harry Potter books, I swear. They're just so... magical and real and perfect to me. The whole world is something that I can relate to and that I find myself really close to. I see a lot of myself in Harry and Hermione especially. I'm like Hermione in that I'm so wrapped up in the infinate world of knowledge and books; school and studies. I'm like Harry in that I've had...a difficult past to say the least, and becuase I would do anything for my friends. My friends are my world to me, and I don't know what I would do without them. I am now, and forever will be, a Potterholic (and proud of it!)
