This is a character journal for the charatcer Patsy in
the_mall. I am not Sarah Major and I have no affiliation with the show.
before the virus: Patsy lived with her parents, younger brother Paul, older sister Penny, and Golden Retriever Bob in a large house on the outskirts of the city. They lived a rather priveledged life. Patsy was much closer to Paul than Penny due to both their closeness in age (Penny was ten years older) and the fact that Patsy understood sign much better than Penny did.
Patsy enjoyed school but was rather fond of getting into trouble. She was always a bit spoiled but deep down had a good heart.
The first one to get sick was Penny. No one in the family understood why. When she died, Patsy's parents started getting ill as well. Patsy and Paul were placed into foster care but soon there were just no adults left to take care of them and they had to fend for themselves.
in the show:Patsy, Paul, and Bob were found by Salene, and together with Cloe they ran into Amber and Dal and they started their own tribe with the rest of the crew that formed the Mallrats. Patsy got on very well with Cloe and was terribly upset when Paul ran away after Lex shouted at him, and has never really gotten fully over it.
Patsy's best friends was always Cloe, and she often hung around KC just because of their closeness in age. Salene and Ryan were like parents to her. However, on her first day of babysitting duty, Patsy lost Brady, and was so uspet with herself that when Trudy forgave her Patsy was willing to do just about anything, so she joined the Chosen at Trudy's bidding. The distanced her greatly from Cloe, but it was Cloe who helped her come back to the Mallrats when she discovered that the Brady she was minding wasn't a Brady at all, but a boy, and then Patsy knew that Trudy had been lying to her.
However, Patsy stayed in the Chosen as a spy at Ellie and Alice's bidding. But she suffered the same fate as Cloe, and was sent away to the Mines as punishment for her crimes.
in the game: Patsy returned to the Mall after spending months out in the country searching in vain for Paul. Still missing him terribly, she decided to return to the Mall, and was overjoyed to find Cloe there. She was soon reunited with Salene and Ryan, and while she is thrilled to be back she can't help but feel that with all the new Mallrats, especially kids like Mouse and all of Ryan's children, that she has been replaced. Even her relationship with Cloe seems to be suffering because of Cloe's boyfriend, Ved.
Despite this, Patsy is slowly readjusting to life at the Mall, and is glad to be able to call the Mallrats her family.
