OK things are getting desperate now. We are about 7 weeks away from defaulting on our mortgage and despite having applied for well over 250 jobs in the last 5 months I am getting nowhere fast.
As many of you know I have extensive experience in the IT industry spanning 15 years. I am a very loyal employee, I work hard and I am not adverse to long hours or travel.
My last role was consulting on and supporting/testing the deployment of Bluecube Software Inc's Enterprise System for Total France (a global oil company).

Yes I know I am clutching for straws here but I can't believe that there are no opportunities available for me. With the UK employment market seemingly in collapse at the moment I am happy to travel internationally and take on any training required. I am not looking for a huge salary, anything over £20 000.00 (thats GBP) per year will do to start (which is a >30% cut on my previous role).
So please, someone give me a chance and I will in turn make you proud of that decision. There is nothing worse than the feeling of not being able to support your family.
