Welcome to [info]_oddities! It's me, [info]beckslfd. I figured it was about time I created my own graphics journal so I don't have to contiually post the icons/graphics that I make in my personal one. It's a whole lot easier to just do it like this! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the iconage! :D

So what kind of icons will you see 'round these parts? Well, you see, I like A LOT of different things. A LOT. You'll probably see icons from all different ends of the spectrum because, well, I can be a tad obsessed I guess. Call it eclectic if you like. Yeah, eclectic. :D

As of now I'm going to keep most posts public. I'll determine which ones are as they come along. However, if I see that there is hotlinking, stealing, bashing, etc., I will turn all posts to "Friends-Only". So please, don't get me to do that. I'd like to know that I don't ever have to.

Ah, yes. The rules. Okay, here's the shpiel:

  • Here's my stand on crediting: it's really nice. Will I hunt you down if you don't? Absolutely not. HOWEVER, if someone asks you where you got your graphic/icon and you pass it off as yours, I'll be pissed beyond belief. I take my time in making these and I don't want other people thinking that you took the time when you really didn't. If someone should ask you where you got a certain graphic from, kindly point them to [info]_oddities. You'll make me a happy camper if you do. :D

  • Comments are truly awesome things. I'd really appriciate if you'd tell me when you took a graphic because it a) shows you have interest and b) it shows that you like my graphics. So DO NOT STEAL MY GRAPHICS -- let me know you're taking them first.

  • If you don't like my graphics, please PLEASE don't go ahead and bash me in the comments. If you don't like them, then don't say anything. If I have any problems with this you'll be removed from my journal -- if anything escalates then my journal will go "Friends-Only".
  • DO NOT HOTLINK. Please upload everything to your own server. This too, if I have problems with it, will force me to lock my journal and make it "Friends-Only". Spare any trouble for me and for you and DON'T DO IT. If you want places to host any graphics you take check out Photobucket or ImageShack.

  • On that note, DO NOT POST MY ICONS IN ANY OTHER PLACE OTHER THAN LJ. That means Xanga, GreatestJournal, etc. Only LJ, okthnx.

  • DO NOT ALTER MY ICONS IN ANY WAY. If you do, I'll make sure that Han Solo gives you a live demonstration on the effects of a blaster, m'kay? So yeah, DON'T DO IT.
  • As of now I'm NOT taking requests. I think I still have a little ways to go when it comes to icon-making and I don't want to promise anything to anyone if I know that I won't be able to deliver. I might never allow requests, but I'll see as time goes on.
