see.. i told you i would update more when i got my memory card for my camera!
so my boyfriend was playing GTA earlier and i decided to take some pictures of my apartment. its really simple right now because the girl who owned all the decorations moved out...so if any of you guys know anything about interior decorating and have any advice...AT ALL... i would love you forever and would definately try it out :). ESPECIALLY in the living room...its VERY...blah..right now

Oh Christ, it's over. For the most part. Kind of. For now.
My dad now has a working kidney inside of his body.
His surgery was on Thursday, and... Yeah. I'm not going to type out all of the ridiculous details and such (not sure my dad really wants all of his details on the Interwebs).
He's doing great, feeling no pain, etc. etc.
Also, the new North Terminal at DTW is such a pain in the ass to pick someone up from.

It's been awhile.
Nothing new to report, to be honest.
Life has been very dull.
Occasional alcohol poisoning, getting losts in the woods of Kalmazoo behind the stadium...
The usual.
Still talking to Dan which is going superbly. We get along better than we used to.
Nothing short of a miracle, haha.
I've decided to take a little from the new batch of girls that came through & I'm really excited about it.
She's adorable :)
My dad is going through a rough time so I've been home a lot more often.
Can't say I'm too disappointed about that fact.
Going from living with my dad to 50 girls is kindof.. well, unnerving to say the least.
But I'm having an absolute blast and I mean it when I say that every single one of them is fucking amazing.
I don't know what I'd do without them.
Eh, nothing more to add, I'd say.
Off to bed then!

My Macbook has a tiny crack right in the middle of the screen, grah!
I haven't even had it for 3 months, damnit.
I've never dropped it or bumped it or done anything that would damage it in any way. I'm actually nice to this laptop, unlike my old one that I beat the crap out of.
I'm pretty pissed sooo. . . Does anyone know if Apple will fix it? Obviously it's still under warranty, AND I got Applecare on top of that.
Shit's so lame!

So, I'm starting to get into the whole making music thing.
I've put another version up here if you want to check it out.
I've come to the conclusion that I am smarter than my math professor. By a long shot.
Maybe not at math or chemistry, two things that this man has apparently "mastered" but overall I feel like I could take him on in a test of intelligence.
Not sure why I felt like I needed to share that with everyone.
My dad's surgery is tomorrow. I'm going straight to the hospital tomorrow when I'm done with class.
My brother is coming in from Florida tomorrow as well.
Cider mill is probably happening on Saturday (unless I'm crazy).
Busy weekend ahead.

So, I've decided to start attempting to record some songs by myself. Here in my room, with a cheap condenser microphone and an acoustic guitar.
All I need is the time and the talent to finish something, and I'll feel pretty good about getting it done.

Last Sunday, I had to work from 9:30 to 4:30. Annoying. I ended up getting off about 20 minutes early, at which time Jack called me and said "I got free tix to the food and wine expo in millennium park! It ends at 5, so we have to go NOW." So I ran to the park. the security guards were checking IDs as we walked in. Jack has a fake, no issue for him. I was a little nervous, but I handed the stupid guard my id (clearly marked UNDER 21), and she told me to have a good time. Ha!
Then, we proceeded to get free wine samples. Lots of them. After all, we only had about 35 minutes to get as much wine as we could! After about 15 minutes, Jack and I looked at each other and said "we're wasted." we were. yet we continued to drink. the expo technically closed at 5, but we stayed on. we made friends who kept pouring us glasses. I'd estimate that we had a bottle and a half (EACH) in the course of about 20 minutes. we left when a security guard on a segway came over, held up his phone, and said "See this number? (It was 911) I'm going to call it if you don't leave now!" So we left. I puked in the park. I puked on the sidewalk. I puked in Jack's bathroom. I puked on Jack.
Meanwhile, I had been planning to pick up a desk I found on Craigslist. Olga, the woman I was picking it up from, told me I could come get it any time before 1AM. No problem. Well, after all of my vomiting, Jack and I passed out for a while. At about 8:30, we woke up, still completely inebriated, and hopped on the train to fucking Evanston. At about 11, Olga texted me "Pretty rude that you say you come get desk and don't." In Evanston, we got his mom's car (Jen drove), and drove to Olga's work on the west sieeeede. She apologized for the rude text. I apologized for my drunkenness. We got the desk, and I ended up making it home at about 2am. It was quite a Sunday.
Aside from drunken debauchery (I've gotten into two 21+ events with my real ID in the past week), I've been maintaining a pretty simple existence. I wake up every morning at 7:30, pack my lunch, and go to school. Classes are fine, nothing too exciting, nothing too boring either.
My simple existence is about to turn hectic. Rehearsals start next week! I couldn't be more happy. SOO happy. Can't wait. Yep.

It's been a good forty weeks since I've updated this damned thing.
I'm not sure why I find it so hard to do anymore, really. I suppose I've just changed.
I used to feel like everyone wanted to and did read about the details of my life. Part of it is that I was far more open with every little mundane detail of my life.
Being ridiculously up front with everything that happened was kind of my forte.
That doesn't happen so much anymore. I don't have that much to be up front about, nor do I have much to say that I feel people want to or will listen to (read?).
I guess I'll attempt, once again, to update this thing a little more than I normally do. Once every forty weeks won't cut it.
In extremely unrelated news, I downloaded the discography of Rammstein. Yeah, that Rammstein. What's worse, though, is that I honestly like them. I'm not being ironic or sarcastic. I really like their music.
Anyone have some new albums that they really liked? I'm looking for some more music to download.
Also, do any geeks out there remember the Jet Moto games for the PlayStation? I just downloaded one today on the PS3 here in our apartment and am playing it right now on my PSP. I forgot how frickin' awesome these games were.

If you are reading this you should go to Target and buy a pack of Uniball 1.0 mm Jetstream pens. They come in a black, pink, blue, and green four-pack and OHHH MY LAWD!!

I know it probably seems even more anal than usual of me to be freakgasming over a pen, but I wouldn't waste your time telling you to go buy them if they weren't FREAKING AMAZING.
Anyway, I've been doing horribly in school so far. I failed my first test in math and I'm pretty sure I failed or just barely avoided failing my first chemistry test. I got a 96 on my French test though, which isn't surprising, and I don't have tests in my multiculturalism class (thank jeebs), and my first test in urban geography is on Tuesday and I'm pretty sure I'm going to fail that one too because I skipped the last class to go to a planning commission meeting that I have to write a paper on which is also due for that class. Did that last sentence make any sense? I don't care because I passed comp 101 and 201 and that means I can write good! Ha! Haha!
School and work are making me crazy. I haven't had a school- or work-free day in almost two months. I'm so glad I asked for a few days off at the end of the month.
Also, I've been putting a hundred dollars of every paycheck I've gotten since I started working at the shoe store in my savings account and I have over a thousand dollars saved up!! This is a small fortune to me, and I am very excited.
Ohhhhhh I am tired.
