being at the beach for two days was the best thing for both jessica and i. i had so much fun having good old fashioned girl time. i even got her to put blush on her face and curl her eye lashes. i found myself finishing her sentences and she was always finishing mine. i havent laughed that much in so long my face actually hurts a little. im grateful for meeting her and i hope she feels the same. i see a lot of possibilites comming out of this rapidly growing friendship. if you are wondering where all of the pictures are they will stay on my flickr due to not having enough time to copy each link over here. i hope everyone is having just as great of a summer as i am.

life just got a million times better in a matter of thirty minutes
jessica aka lyingislegal , called out of the blue and
suddenly all these amazing plans started happening

my upcomming plans:

tomorrow christopher comes to see me

saturday will be my day with him to do whatever we want

driving to long beach on sunday for girl time with jessica

monday is mail day

tuesday is zine collaboration day with jessica

wednesday and thursday are my days to relax and do nothing

annie and the dreamboats play on friday for $4 and jessica is taking me

i know this involves a lot of jessica, but nobody knows how wonderful this is for me
to finally get my butt out of this house and get out into the world again
the idea of making zines with someone else really excites me too
the zine symposium is in less than seven weeks and im STOKED!

i had a fabulous fourth of july. barbeque with christopher, his mom and brother was fun. my dad even came along although he wasnt feeling too good. i stayed the night and we went to mount tabor to watch downtowns fireworks. i dont ever want to go there again because its just to far away! we took max puppy with us because he has this facination with fireworks and wants to eat/chase them. i was nervous keeping him at home and him being all by himself getting all excited and maybe going potty on the floor. sparklers are my favorite and luckily the boys enjoyed them too. sadly i didnt take a lot of pictures like last year but here you go.

so here it is, the big and final update about everything!

thirty days went by so fast i dont even know where to begin. we moved . . . to fairview (its 20-30 minutes from portland according to google). to make everything so much easier im going to try my best to keep this short and somewhat sane. my dad and i ended up moving into my aunt kates house because shes currently living on base in san diego with her husband who is in the marines. we will hopefully only be here for a year. its nice because the house was half furnished half empty. i luckily have enough space for my things but i just havent adjusted yet. moving is such a bummer when you dont want to do it. ive decided to move back in with my dad while i become a college student to keep costs low and not have to worry about bills extra uneeded stress. missing christopher is the hardest part of it all. im working on the my last two tests , and then i have to worry about college placement tests. trying to find a job has also been a real downer. anyways, i want to feel half way back to normal. its been really hard to get back into the swing of things and find motivation. im so grateful for my bicycle though. it helps me to get out of the house. one good thing about the move , im down the street from the post office and the library!

ive realized that i cant put things of any longer when it comes to talking about my problems. things have been an up and down battle for the past month between bursts of happiness and then total lack of everything especially inspiration. and to top of the icing, last friday my dad got a thirty day vacate notice from his apartments. we were told to wait to ask question until a manager was in, and today was the day. she started out cold hearted and it ended nastier than it began due to me standing up for my dad. im not going to just sit there like a helpless puppy dog and watch somebody treat my only parent like she did. she didnt answer any questions we had and said that she didnt have to tell us anything or why she was getting rid of us. my dad has lived here for four years. he doesnt make noise, he keeps to himself, and most of all he has never been late on rent. hes been on affordable housing that has really helped him make it all these years, but now i am getting nowhere looking for a new home. this time we were thinking of a house but money is tight like always and the timing was the worst part! i dont want peoples sympathy and i think thats the biggest reason i havent talked about it.

right now those sheets are the only place i want to be.

here are some new pictures of our new room. we switched rooms and moved in downstairs to christophers parents old room successfully. there are still some things to come down but for now its working out. its all organized for the most part and very clean! i finally have a shelf for my cameras and i have so many that they all wont fit so i will have to figure that out eventually.

i havent made the time to talk about it but for spring break christopher, his mom, his brother, and i went to the coast for a little one night getaway. we didnt have a lot of money but it was a total blast. we spent the night in newport and visited the aquarium the next day because his mom and brother had never been. i always love going to the beach. im completely in love will all things beachy/ocean realted.
