Well, things are going well here I suppose.  It could be a lot worse.

I leave for Helena for 3 days of training fun!  I will get to sleep on a real bed for the first time in a month!  I need to start dating—or having sex---with someone who has a bed so I can get away from that air mattress.  I just can’t find a decent bed for sale at a cheap price!   Grrrrrrr….

Mr. GW Bush was on TV this morning making an ass out of himself—“blah blah blah, I jerk off under the podium—blah blah blah I’m rich blah blah king of the world blah blah blah…”  I was worried I’d wake up my roommate and her boyfriend by screaming at my TV set.  I just turned it off instead and listened to the radio.

I could drink a trough of water right now, but maybe I won’t.

I have to do laundry tonight, but we only have a washing machine in the apartment—so I can wash all my clothes and then lug a bag of wet laundry three blocks to the laundry mat to dry them.  Cheaper than washing and drying it all there.  I like our laundry mat—it’s logo is a gay-ass rainbow so I feel right at home.

I want a Pita.

Speaking of Pita’s, I actually watched Oprah on Friday, in its entirety, for the first time ever.  I have to say, she is still pretty self-righteous but she does at least tell some stories of brave folks (and yet whilst millions of humans are dying all over the world, she brings on 2 fire fighters who gave mouth to mouth to a damned puppy…).  I don’t think I’ll be watching Oprah again anytime soon.

I hate being alone and lonely out here.  Sure, I know some people but no one I would call a friend yet.  I miss everyone back home so much.

Oh---I finally figured out the song Scott used to sing all the time "You picked a fine time to leave me Lucille"  It's by Kenny Rogers.

Scott, why are you listening to Kenny Rogers?
