Red Letter Year - July 16th, 2006

I leave tomorrow.  On the road by 5am.

I had to say goodbye to my best friend of nearly 7 years today.  It was so difficult...it will be wierd not physically seeing her.

My room is barren.

All my possesions are boxed up or in my suitcase.  My parents invited my grandparents over for an early dinner so it's gonna be tough.  I hate that I care too much.

Tomorrow morning might be the hardest.  My parents are driving me the 2 hours to the airport.  My dad is my second best friend, and if he starts crying I'm gonna loose it.  It'll be so wierd not seeing him for a whole year and then some.

What scares me the most about leaving is not knowing anybody out there.  I'm used to hotels, to conventions, the job is right up my alley.  It's just gonna be so lonely.  I'm not exaclty sure what I'm going to do with all this.  I just don't know how to adjust to something like this because I've never had to before.

I don't know when I'll be online again.  Depending on the availability of computers at the hotel I might post tomorrow.
