Red Letter Year - June 20th, 2006

I have decided that I DO NOT SUPPORT THE TROOPS.

Here's why:

The job sucks, they are getting shit on by the US Government too...I am compassionate towards them, but 99% of these troops signed up for the Army, they were told what might happen (ie get deployed).  They had the choice whether or not to sign up, and they also had a choice whether or not to go--if someone believes in not going to war enough then they shouldn't---regardless of the punishment.  If they say "I don't agree with why I am here, but I'm just doing my job" then fuck them.  If you don't care enough to try to stop killing innocent people both abroad and at home, then what kind of person are you?  I'm supposed to support you because you're just "following orders?"  I would never protest troops coming home or anything, but I don't support them.  It's just sickening to think that people are just blindly supporting people that seem so eager to perform the devil's work.

I DO NOT SUPPORT THE TROOPS.  And I have a good reason why.
