Think I have a computer virus. A "security alert" from an antivirus program I've never seen before (Antivirus System Pro?) popped up & when I tried to open the task manager, a popup said taskmgr.exe was infected, & did I want to turn on antivirus program? SCARED.
Same popup when I tried to open Paint Shop Pro.
Am trying to update AVG, but it's taking forever. HELP!

Tonight is the first time I've heard the new songs (I didn't set out to be unspoiled, it just worked out that way,) and I am delighted.
Haven't watched the DVD yet.


In other news, you should be watching White Collar (Fridays 10pm ET, USA,) which is *awesome*, and Community (Thursdays 8pm ET, NBC,) which is *hilarious*. Both are also available online & On Demand.


Today I bought some scrapbook paper I've been wanting for a long time. It was a good day. :)

Thing two: I preordered FOB's Believers Never Die via OCK - I'm getting the album, a wtristband, a poster, a t-shirt, a vinyl, and a 3 year OCK renewal for $39.99 (plus $10 shipping.) Pretty good deal!


Thing three: I am *really* enjoying the new show White Collar on USA. And by enjoying, I mean that I've watched the pilot 6 times since Friday. :) It's good! And slashy! (Not as overtly slashy as NCIS: LA, but then few things are.)
I had some deep thoughts on it during my 6th viewing early this morning (woke up & couldn't get back to sleep,) but do I remember any of them now? No, of course not.
I think it's up on Hulu if you want to check it out. (Which you should.)


Thing four: I am okay. My life is just kinda boring lately. Hence the quietness. I've been scrapbooking more. I play my flute. I keep looking for a job. I'm broke. I miss you.

I've checked out 3 new fall shows: Community, NCIS:LA, and The Good Wife. I liked them all. (If you poke me I might even talk about them more.)


So apparently there's already a Sherlock Holmes sequel in development, even though the first movie hasn't come out yet. Not sure how I feel about this.


Pete has got some new viral campaign thingy going on again. I do not have the energy to investigate it.

I've been kinda lonely lately. I haven't seen any of my friends since May. And the only people I've had conversations (phone or RL) with lately have been my parents and my flute teacher.

So, we got the bat that was in my house, out, and I've been freaked out ever since. Have had two nightmares about bats, & I jump at every little noise. Have got to figure out where it got in at!


Other than that, I have not been up to much. I had some thoughts before, but I can't remember them now. Sigh.

I *love* the A Weekend At Pete Rose's video! Definitely one of my new favorite things. (But then, I also like Weekend At Bernie's 1 & 2.)


New Mad Men ep = excellent! Best episode so far this season, IMO.
I was going to write more about it, but I don't have the energy and I doubt any of you really care.


My life is mostly boring right now. Tomorrow I have a dentist appoitment and might go to Barnes & Noble afterwards.


Oh, today I made this single-serving 5 minute chocolate cake and it was easy and *delicious*. (I added some chocolate chips to the batter for extra deliciousness.)

I wish I was at the FOB concert now, but I'm not. Sigh.
Yes, this is making me extremely sad.

Seriously thinking of drinking some Smirnoff Ice & doing some online shopping, to help console myself. Yeah, my coping strategies could use some work.


In other "fun" news, there were some unauthorized charges on my credit card statement! Yeah.
So I went to Chase yesterday and talked to a nice & v. helpful lady, & I'm getting a new card (with a new number, which kinda makes me sad because my credit card number was really easy to remember,) and they're sending me some paperwork to fill out so I can get the money back. It was about $100 of charges that weren't mine, so not *too* bad. But still.


I suppose I should go fill out some job applications now.

Things:

-I had *delightful* corn on the cob today! Fresh and sweet and locally grown! (I refuse to eat corn on the cob in retaurants, it's always smushy and bland.)
