i asked my mom if she could order a ticket with her credit card.
what does she say?
she looks me straight in the eye and says
"are you retarded? why would i waste my money on something so retarded?"
and then i told her how i had the money and i would give it to her and how i really wanna go and all that stuff and she looks at me and goes
"let me think about it........NO"

thanks mom.even though she knows how much i love them.i can't believe she would do this.

well so i got really mad and i cried.
and then i thought of how selfish i was being.

i had to give an impromptu speech.
i was so nervous.
and i got a really stupid subject.
it was
"describe a life changing experience"
and i was like

because i was so scared.
and i chose
Hurricane Katrina
[even though it wasn't down there experencing it]
i still chose it
and i went on about how people don't realize what they had until it was gone.
and i went totally off subject.

Okay, so as you know many people have been really fucked up by this hurricane. Well, today in Chemestry my teacher decided to show us the Oprah Video about the hurricane. Well, we watched it and it was so horrible that I dont know how those people are surviving? My good friend Cari and I decided that we NEED to help those people, without a lot of money to give, since not a lot of teens have jobs.

WELL. we came up with an idea that kind of goes along with something that Cari did in 7th grade. HEr class had a can food drive, and gave it to the local food bank, and therefore hundreds of homeless people in erie got to eat thanksgiving dinner.

Our Idea is to collect as many cans as we can, to send through the Second Harvest Food Bank to the people that have nothing else to eat.

I was wondering if anyone would like to either contribute, or help out in any way possible. If you wish to help, Message me and I will give you the address to my high school where the cans will be collected.
