I'm trying to get into a reinventing love 'verse mindset, and I'm hoping you guys can help me out! I saw this meme floating around tumblr, and I thought it'd be fun.

Give me a love 'verse character (anyone, really) and a number and I will give you my headcanon answer. Hopefully this will spark some creativity and fic will come of it!



1. What does their bedroom look like?

2. Do they have any daily rituals?

3. Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

4. What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

5. Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)

6. Eating habits and sample daily menu

7. Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time

8. Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging

9. Makeup?

10. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?

14. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)

16. Biggest and smallest long term goal?

17. Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress

18. Favorite beverage?

19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

20. Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?

21. Turn-ons? Turn-offs?

22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

23. How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?

24. Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

38. If you were to ask Jeff, he would tell you that there are two of him. Business Jeff is Type A all the way. He's going to be a doctor, after all. That doesn't leave much room for slacking. He's super serious about his studies and his work, even though it might not seem that way to the casual observer. The cool thing about Jeff though, is that he's able to turn it off. Party Jeff is Type B all the way. Jeff knows how to live life to its fullest and still get shit done, which is a rare quality to have. So he thinks he's doing pretty good for himself.

45. Cults are fucking crazy, man. No thank you.

Turn-ons:

  • Pretty much everything about Jared.
  • The smell of coffee.
  • The way someone looks smoking a joint.

  • Scoring goals in lacrosse.

    Turn-offs:

  • The messy way Jared eats his cereal. (Jensen finds this endearing, actually, but it doesn't necessarily inspire sexy thoughts.
  • Bullying of any sort.
  • Arrogance.
  • Green tea. LIke seriously, even the smell of it.

    22: Whenever Jared finds himself with a blank piece of paper and a pencil, the pencil usually goes ignored while Jared makes a paper airplane. He's loved paper airplanes since he was a kid and it's oen of the reasons he wants to be an engineer. He wants to make things fly.

    TRICKY TRICKY.

    Jared, 36: Even though Jensen has told him not to, Jared always feels guilty when he thinks back on their senior year and how different things could have been. He wishes that he could have realized his feelings for Jensen all on his own instead of having to be told, and he hates all the pain Jensen went through before Jared got his shit together. In hindsight, there's no other way they could of gone, but in his darkest moments, Jared hates himself for all the wasted time.

    Jensen, 2: Oh god, yes. He takes longer to get going than almost anyone else in their group. He has to start every morning off with a long, hot shower and a cup of coffee or he doesn't feel human. Each morning comes with the wish that he could just drink his coffee in the shower. (Sometimes he does.) Then his contacts go in and he gives himself a shave and does his hair. Then it's more coffee while he gets dressed, and then another cup before he leaves the room. Sometimes he goes for a run before his shower, but usually he'd rather wait for Jared, who is impossible to wake up before ten. Jerk.

    48: Sandy's never really been in love before, but Josh could be the one to change that. Sandy's always been sort of a no-nonsense, take charge sort of girl, so she's planning on cooking Josh dinner and just telling him flat out. I'm in love with you.

    Josh has never been in love either, but judging by the way he looks at her sometimes, Sandy's pretty sure she knows what his response will be.

    Song lyrics, most likely. Jensen loves music, pretty much every aspect of it. A blank piece of paper will most likely turn into a collage of whatever song lyrics are bouncing around his head, a tracklist for a new mix, tabs for songs he wants to learn on the guitar, and bands he needs to check out.

    And if Jared's name ends up in a heart down in the corner, well, that's only for him to know.

    Jensen doesn't have a lot of regrets. The past is the past and there's no changing it, so there's really no point in dwelling on it. Sometimes he wonders what would have happened if he had the balls to tell Jared how he felt sooner, but it doesn't matter. They're together now.

    Jared loves taking naps. And yeah, he knows they're a waste of time and there's so much other stuff he could be doing with that time, but seriously. Curling up in the middle of the day with one of Jensen's nap mixes (seriously, Jensen has a mix for everything) on his iPod is one of his favorite things. It's even better when Jensen curls up with him and they wake up just in time for one of Jared's other favorite things: sex or dinner, depending on his mood.

    Jensen's favorite indulgence is coffee. Big surprise, right? But really, he loves super sweet coffee with lots of cream, and he loves it when it's cold and he and Jared can wrap themselves up in a blanket and drink hot coffee. It's relaxing, and he can't get enough of it.

    James is really more of a 'live in the now' type of person. Thanks to his inheritance from his uncle, he doesn't really have to worry about money, especially since he doesn't really spend that much of it. He'd like to do charity work, help people, but beyond that he doesn't have much of a plan.

    Other than Misha, of course. Misha is his future.

    Jensen's biggest short term goal is passing his goddamn Trig final because fuck math, okay?

    Jared used to have a major problem with needing everyone to like him, but that's lessened since he got together with Jensen and started college, because he has all the friends he needs that love him for the weirdo he is.

    Josh wants to be an architect, so a blank piece of paper is more likely than not going to get covered with sketches of bridges and skyscrapers, any sort of design that pops into his head. One of his designs is going to grace the Los Angeles skyline one day, just wait and see.

    Jeff is more of a toss-up. He's a list maker. It helps with boredom to scrawl out random lists; things he needs to do, top ten classic rock songs to have sex to, etc. Or, failing lists, probably a detailed drawing of a penis.

    Depsite evidence to the contrary, Jensen really cares about school. He excels at Biology and Anatomy, which is good considering that he hopes to be a physical therapist someday. He gives Jared partial credit for helping him so much with his anatomy homework, laying naked on the bed while Jensen mumbles the names of different muscles and bones into Jared's skin.

    Jared expresses love however he can, all day every day. Jared wears his heart on his sleeve, and he wants the people he loves to know just how much he does. It can be anything from bringing Jensen coffee when he's working at the bookstore, to picking wildflowers for his mom.

    When Misha was sixteen, he and his friend Tim got high up in a tree. It wasn't his smartest move, especially when he fell out of said tree and really messed up his back. It took weeks for him to recover, sitting up in his room and being moody. The doctor made him do all these stretches, and Misha found that they really helped.

    A big chunk of Misha's moodiness can be contributed to his back. He's sore more often than not, and if he goes very long without doing yoga to stretch it out, it locks up on him.

    James gives him massages sometimes, when Misha can hardly stand the pain. Sometimes Misha thinks he realized he was in love with James during one of those massages, when he was calm and gentle enough to work the knots out of his lower back, pressing soft kisses to the skin. Misha's never really been cared for like that before.

    And needless to say, his tree climbing days are over.

    For further inspiration (ahem) how about a Jeff falls in love story? On the lines of 'the bigger they are, the harder they fall? Especially considering he's the biggest guy as well as (apparantly) the biggest manwhore of the group? (nudge, nudge. oh come on, you know you want to!)
    ALSO: coming to this masterpost is like playing a really hard level of some game and being almost completely out of food/ammo/heath/manna/etc. and then suddenly coming apon a secret auto-filling super-stash of the item in question. Lifesaver. Rejuvenator. Utter Happiness. (dreamy sigh)
