I am completely awed, humbled, and grateful to everyone's reactions and responses to my earlier post about love 'verse being plagiarized. So many of you jumped to my defense and said such sweet things. You guys literally made me cry with all your support, and it just goes to show yet again that the Supernatural fandom (aside from the crazies) is full of the snarkiest, wittiest, best people ever. We stick together, and that's awesome.

As for the update: WhatEverHappened deleted all of "her" stories from ff.net along with her twitter and tumblr. She made no acknowledgment of what she had done, let alone an apology to me or any of the other authors she stole from, but at least the stories are taken down.

And now, to celebrate the end to this clusterfuck of an ordeal, I have a love 'verse timestamp to post! TAKE THAT, SUCKA!

What is wrong with people? Something just like that happened about a month ago to another author I read. I'm glad the fake took the copied work down, to do something to such a beloved verse like yours is just asking for trouble! I didn't know about this until now, otherwise I would gladly have joined the townsfolk with pitchforks and torches :)

OMG, I had no idea this happend to this wonderful story. Will ALWAYS remain one of my favorite of all-time. Shame on plagiarists, period.

Yay! I'm happy it was resolved so quickly after discovery! All of us fic readers just have to keep an eye out for plagiarism-apparently even across fandoms. And I just hope the thief doesn't just make a new account peddle her stolen stories.

Hey there! I was away yesterday and didn't hear about all the commotion, but holy crap that is just awful. Your verse' is probably one of the most epic pieces of fiction I've ever read and to hear that someone just blatantly stole it makes me sick.

I'm so glad that things have been resolved, but you deserve a HUGE apology from that person. It's just awful! But a great big YAY for a timestamp ... I'm off to read it now :)

can't even lie - this verse is the reason I started watching SPN. I hadn't watched it - someone I know recommended your verse to me and I INHALED IT LIKE AIR. It is the HS AU upon which I judge all other fandoms. I am so sorry you had to deal with that.

Late to the game
Ok. I'm really late on this... but MY GOD! the f*cking nerve?? And really, how STUPID? Of all the stories this person (?!) picks the re-inventing verse? That's like someone plagiarizing Harry Potter or the Friends series in terms of culture consciousness. I mean, first they do something so wrong, and then they pick one of the most loved verse to rip off? Good God!

I can only imagine what you must have gone through, just feeling the absolute rage that someone tried to do this to one of my TOP 3 J2 Fic... It would have been exponentially so much worse for you.

I came in late to this party... and boy I wish I'd signed in earlier... I would have really liked to show you my support too. I'm just so glad that its over, and hopefully they don't show up again under another name.

Thank you one more time for this beautiful verse. It is the one I re-read everything RL gets a little too much.
