Jared Padalecki's greatest talent is running away. He ran away from home when he was a kid, and whenever he's faced with a problem, he runs from that too. When he runs away from his job with a traveling circus (which yes, he's aware of the irony in that) and finds himself lost in the woods, he takes refuge in an abandoned hunting cabin. Except that it's not abandoned at all. In fact, the cabin's inhabitant, a gorgeous and naive guy named Jensen, has never even left it. He's stuck in there on his overbearing father's orders, and Jared never has been one for playing by the rules.

Jensen's one and only dream is to see the ocean, so Jared convinces him to come with him on a journey that will change both their lives forever. Jensen is the most interesting person that Jared has ever met, and that's even before he finds out about his crazy awesome magical powers. Somewhere between the lush forests of rural Kansas, the jagged valleys of the Grand Canyon, the bright lights of Las Vegas, and a deserted beach in California, their friendship turns into something more powerful than anything either of them could have ever imagined. They have a whole world to explore, but will secrets from Jensen's past threaten their future together?
