Today, I fell off a ladder at work. I landed on my butt. I'm so sore. I can hardly walk!!!My question is "can you walk with a broken hip". It sure fells like there is something wrong.

Well, it has been a couple of days, since I came home. We left last Thursday to go and visit Melanie. It took us 18 hours to get there!!! I had the greatest time there. It was so great to visit with Melanie, and meet with her friends. We went to San Fransisco, (which I really loved), we went to fisherman's wharf and I had clam chowder!!! We had a tour of the hospital where she works. We also went to the Sacramento zoo and she showed me where she used to live in Davis(which is a non-smoking town!!)I tried many new things, I had a Guinness beer for the first time and went to a thai restaurant. I really enjoyed that. One night Mark made us shepherd's pie, (he is a very good cook!!) It was really good visit and I'm looking forward to going next year on my own.I'm really happy that Melanie is happy with her life. Her and Mark are just great together. He is a great guy and I'm so happy that he is back with her.Ok, I'm not saying anymore about that, but, you know what I'm thinking!!!!

I"m going to Calfornia!!!!!! This will be my first time to visit Melanie. I have never had the opportunity to visit her, and now I do. I'm so excited!!! I can hardly wait to go.

I just got back from housesitting. The house I was at was amazing, it had everything you could want. A big screen tv, a huge swimmming pool, a hot tub. They have such nice stuff,the latest things, and really nice furniture. But, it is a house, not a home.When, I came home, I felt really glad. I really don't have the nicest stuff, most of it is used, but it is home!!!! I am at home. I am so happy that I have discovered that it doesn't matter how much you have, if it isn't a home then you have nothing. I am so glad that I'm at home!!!!!:)

This is my 20th year of living alone. Time has just flown by. It seems like yesterday that I had all the kids home, having the youth over, and driving the kids around. All my kids are grown and living good lives. I am so proud of all of them!! Now, I am a grandma!!! ( A young grandma):) Just interesting facts to share with you all!!

I really hate it when your kids are sad and you can't do anything for them. You can only be there for them, but it doesn't seem like you are doing a lot. I can only love them, and tell them it will get better.

I just wanted everyone to know that is is official, I'm totally blonde!! Jimmy gave me his cell, and I needed to charge it up, while I just couldn't get how to do it. For 2 days, I have been trying to figure it out, then I looked at the thing that you plug it in with, and it was the wrong one, it was for my hand held vaccum!!! So, I plugged the cell with the right on, it was so easy!!! I think that I'm the only person who does such dumb things.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to buy some pillsbury buns for a treat.So,
I also decided to make some pillsbury buns this morning, they were so gross, I have never tasted anything so bad.I'm never gonna to buy them again!!! Well, that is my news for today!!:)

Well, tonight at work my supervisor told me that I got the full time position. The crew was so happy for me, I felt really good about it. i made all these plans in my head, I could have actually a hoilday, I could finally go and visit Melanie. I wouldn't have to ask for help in paying my bills. I would have benefits!!! Well, later on in the evening the manager came in and told me that my supervisor misunderstood and that I didn't have the position.They wanted me to work in that area, but I couldn't be full time. I am so sad, I feel very used. I wished that management liked me.

Well, in a couple of days I will find out if I will get a full time position at Zellers. It is for the food department, there is no one else they can ask to take the position, except for me.
