SmashEDO's 'Shut ITT' demo is less than a week away!!!
by Jimmy ([info]smashboredom)
at October 13th, 2008 (04:38 am)

The 'Shut ITT' demo is now only a few days away and we're urging as many people to come as possible. If you're working, book the day off work or call in sick!

The Carnival Against the Arms Trade in June was a huge success and the Wednesday 15th October march promises to be bigger and better. We're expecting a bit of police attention and so it's especially important that anyone who can come does come!

The demo will start on the lawn outside Sussex University in Falmer at 12:00pm on Wednesday so please arrive early. Falmer Train station is just by the University, but it's probably a better idea to catch the 25 bus from the city centre. Just catch the one that terminates at the Universities.

If you're coming from outside the Brighton area, we recommend that you come here on Tuesday evening. We will able to provide a limited amount of places to sleep, so if you do need a place to crash for the demo, please call us on the campaign phone (07522024465) to let us know asap.

There are a few local groups organising transport to get here and if any of the following are in your general region please feel welcome to drop them a line. If your local area isn't covered, please call SmashEDO and we'll try and help.

Manchester - manchesternoborders at riseup.net
Nottingham - contact at nottsantimilitarism.org.uk
Sheffield - sheffield at af-north.org
Hereford - hereford at afed.org.uk
Bath - bathactivistnet at yahoo.co.uk
Hastings - hastingsagainstwar at yahoo.co.uk
There will be a meeting at 6pm on Tuesday evening (14th October for all those who are travelling from around the country to the demonstration at the Cowley Club, 12 London Road, Brighton (opposite Somerfield). Food will be provided.

Legal notice

If you do get arrested at the demo we recommend that you use Kelly's Sollicitors (01273) 674898. Please make sure you have the number on or about your person on the day.

My boyfriend doesn't seem to have as much of a sex drive as I do.
I mean, I could have sex everyday and he might want sex 2-3 times a week.
What do you people suggest I do?
I don't really like jerking off and I don't feel I should have to but I already have.

Something to think about

But something I got at a "Catholics For Obama" meeting has we wondering how well the Church, and perhaps other Christian denominations are living up to the ideals of the man they claim to follow.
