So comp is up and running and now I'm running around trying to catch up LOL

BUT I do have a question - Do I have any Mac users on my FL? I would like some advice and opinions about them. I used to use them, but due to what the "general" public used and what schools offered I've been with IBM forever. But due to certain decisions I'm looking into getting a Mac ^_^ I'm just not sure whether to aim for a laptop or try out a desktop...I just wanted to know what might be the best kind for me to use. Lots of graphics and multimedia used!

I'm researching them like crazy!

Yesterday was my birthday and I had to work XD And I was sort of worried because they threatened to embarrass me...BUT...cuz we were so busy they forgot!!! hahahahaha Awesome...

BUT also people were super super cool to me.

~usakochan paid for my lj account with extra pics ;_; I LUBLUB YOU!!! Now I have to get off my butt and make a new layout and add more user pics ^^ She also gave me a cute little vgift cupcake. I MISS YOU!!!
~bmmn came to my work to eat and I wish I could have talked to her more, but so busy ~WAI!~ but we got Chinese food for dinner after work and also got some Gelato YUM!!!
~Shea got me a cute little card with a glittery cake on it (perfect for Bijou's size ^_~)
~Mum got me these cute little hair clips shaped as crowns that I wore to work *lol* (oh...and Bijou is wearing one in her hair too =P)
~I also got a LOT more food hahahaa Garlic Bread because it is YUMMY and an itty bitty German Chocolate cake ^^
~I also got a HUGE My Melody purse/bag that I've turned into my sewing bag (there's logic behind it and as soon as I upload a pic I'll explain the story!)

I also got a phone call from my niece Jam that was the cutest thing EVER!

Deleted the last locked post. Don't discuss it. Not worth it. This is an open post. I'm going to be away for awhile. When I come back there'll probably be some big changes. Just the way it'll be.

Probably everyone has heard already, but Luciano Pavarotti died earlier today. I have a lot of things to be sad about, but wow...this really makes me sad on new levels. I listen to a lot of music, but it's hard for me to find a piece that really moves me or a singer that no matter what they sing I would listen to. He was one of those. His voice was amazing and clear. I have loads of his singing on tape. I'm going to miss that voice...

I need to really write about a lot of stuff, but for now I will plug cuz I love <3's

That leather satchel I squee'ed about in the other post? My art doesn't fit into it -_- DRAT! Guess I'm back to looking for one...

On the other hand I have 6 pieces of art to scan in (once I finish colouring 2) which is rather a good progress for me. And I've come up with some ideas. I just wish I could figure out background art better for my characters...

So as I'm packing (don't ask right now. Story to come later.) I'm going through this large box of purses I have. I'm always handed purses and bags and other such items and most I rarely use. But anyhoo I'm trying to pack it neatly and what do I find on the bottom??? A leather satchel that will work wonderful for my art supplies!!! OMG!!!!!!! I think it's supposed to be used for a laptop, but eh...who cares! I can now organize my stuff better and keep it protected instead of just having them in a paper folder =D I had talked about trying to afford an art bag and here I have one! Occassionally going through your old stuff is a good idea ^_~

Now to clean it properly and actually put my stuff into it LOL Which reminds me that I owe both MeiMei and Army art pieces...der...Plus I have this cute Lolita set I want to work on. Plus...oh ya...hahaha Need to work on art!

I will soon be offering prints of some of my work. I'm still debating about commissions, but I'm not sure.

I took this today at around 11:30am in my backyard. As you can see it's partially in shade as well 0_0 And NO it's not broken! Not yet that is ^_~ If it gets any hotter it will be (we replace our thermometers once a year due to just that fact!) We're trying to find one that reads higher than 120F so ya...

There are new problems with that Menu Food that produced all that animal food that is causing pets to die. They are now going to look into dry food as well. Is it so wrong for us to think we could trust companies with providing safe products for our pets? Our cat took very well to the new soft food we make ourselves after a few days of turning his nose up at it. Now we have to find a new hard food. It's leading us to think we should definitely take him to the vet to atleast get checked up on.

It lists all the companies that are being recalled and there are 49 of them! I had no idea a plant could cover this many companies. We feed our cat soft food every night and when my mum went to the pet store she saw that the shelves were basically empty and found the notice. I had read the news the other day, but didn't know it involved this many companies. Make sure you click onto the food company's site so you can check the codes on any cans you may have. We're watching our cat to make sure there are no symptoms.
