So, years ago, when I actually watched Dawson's Creek, I missed an episode that turned out to be pivotal. The one in which Jack writes a poem about a boy, and discovers he's gay. I figured I'd catch it in reruns. Only, I missed it again.
Eventually, I lost interest in the series. Now it's in syndication, I thought it'd be easy to catch. Only I still kept missing it.
So, when I caught an episode earlier this week that I knew was the same season, but Jack was still straight, I used the search function. I found the episode. I set the reminder, and my alarm clock.
Now, I've finally seen it. It held no secrets I didn't already know. No life altering acting or righting. And yet, I am inordinately happy.
It takes the littlest things.
In other news, I have an appointment with my doctor this evening. The results from all my tests are in. Joy.
ETA: Appointment has been postponed until next week. This is a good thing.
