a new illustration for an essay in the LVW arguing "why releasing low-level, nonviolent inmates is safer than keeping them incarcerated," by damon hodge.

	That is an impressive, terrifying tattooed arm. Often, drawings of people with tattoos look like drawings randomly floating over their skin; these really look like tattoos, integrated with the skin. and on that lighthearted note, i'm off to see indie! :D Have fun! (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Arm hair is fun to draw, and hard to make look right. It's small details like that which really add to this piece--the arm on the top looks really menacing, and I bet it's because of that HAIR. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	ha! you're right, it definitely does add to the overall menacing tone, perhaps especially so since the poor mild-mannered offenders are so bare-limbed. i swear i didn't mean to evince or imply any prejudice against arm hair, though. g (Reply to this)(Parent)

	great illoskillos! indy 4 was a turd... it's george lucas' baby so speilberg did as he was instructed...but man it was a TURD! very disappointing. and I LOVE TEMPLE OF DOOM! it's the only one i own because the others just ain't as fun! but SKULLs is poop! a C+ at best. hrumph. but you draw really well.
