So, although first indications were that my allergy to horses was either in control or no longer worth worrying about, they proved to be incorrect as the day progressed.
So, I've had a rather itchy face, hands, and arms on my left-hand side to accompany a swollen bottom lip and left eye for a good portion of the day. Luckily, as the day's drawn on these problems have subsided.
Despite all the allergy drama it was really nice to see a friend doing something that they enjoy. Plus, one tends to forget how large, powerful, and muscular horses can be when encounters with them are few and far between.
