Hello LJ, long time no entry! Although I do read everyones posts :) I'm gunn atry start it up again! Haha.
UPDATE: Graduated, had a nice summer, not sure what I want to do career wise so for now I am keeping my job at the SU bar and have taken on another bar job too at Trillians - a rock bar in newcastle - so I can pay le bills!

Several bruises on my legs and I was physically for the first time since i was 8 (due to alcohol)

I should probably update this seeing as I havn't touched it for over a month, oops!
Dunno where to start. Uni's been good tho not without a little bit of drama and feelings.
Had some wicked nights out, one in particular where I got absolutely hammered and made a complete tit of myself - however have gained a 'Emz you effin' legend!' title for doing so, thus its all good! Also have made a few more friends in the last few weeks which has been cool.
I've been dying marks hair again, I re-did his technicolour and then I did it black-blue with a green streak at the front and one at the back, which is ace. Also helped him get a job and he now works at Goose in town so I get served trebles for the price of doubles n can be suitably hammered on £6. NOT BAD!
I went to see Placebo on saturday - it was fan-fookin-tastic!!!! Mister Molko is still 'teh sex' even in middle age and it was an ace gig!
Got more gigs planned, May 2nd me & will are off to see Goldfinger at the cockpit and then May 8th me and Paultry are off to see Me First & The Gimme Gimmes at Nottingham Rock City (providing we book trains/find somewhere to stay!) - eee so excited!!!
I'm currently back in yorkshire for easter and I havnt got really depressed and bored yet, w00t! Tho I am being kept occupied, on monday I drove up to hexham (via middlesbrough to collect mark) for wills party and back down tuesday, yesterday mummy spoilt me in york, buying me clothes (2 denim skirts....oh my gawd Emz in denim?! Only in summer I'll have you know.) tonight am off to paultrys for dinner and then I have family stuff and uni work at the weekend. Am going to drive up n live with mark in Toon for a couple of days next week too, can't be away from my best friend for more than a week haha.
Am also thinking i need to get my hair cut (i might do that myself though... anyone recommend it? lol) and I fancy dred extensions for my b-day so if anyone knows anyone in either newcastle of yorkshire who can install them please let me know :)
That'll do for updates for now I thinks! :)

F'kin Emos.
I never had a problem with Emos untill last night, granted I always thought they were a tad sad but generally they didnt bother me.
Last night we went to krash, under the assumption a saturday night at one of newcastles alt-clubs would be pretty cool.
The music on a saturday is 'PUNK, ROCK, METAL AND EMO' fair enough we thoughts. In we pop and I swear I have never been met with so many 'WTF ARE YOU DOING HERE' stares ever. The DJ was playing punk/ska stuff that i liked so I was completely fuzzled as to what the fuck the place was doing full (and i mean FULL) of emos all dressed to the nines in the exact same outfit as the person standing next to them. NOBODY was dancing, instead they were all stood round in their little gangs posing and occasionally sneering at us. I swear I've never felt so fucking individual in cyberdog. haha. They looked completely baffled at the sounds of NOFX, Pennywise and Me First and The Gimmes Gimmes, what the fuck can you not get about MFATGG - they cover pop songs ffs.
So we stood there getting as drunk as possible so we could invade the empty dancefloor for a skanking sesh...but then the DJ played a song off the fall out boy album (incidently, I like Fall Out Boy, they're not very emo at all.) and they FLOCKED (and boy do i mean it) and swarmed the dancefloor....I've never laughed so hard AT people. They didnt dance tho they just stood still and sang and occasionally moved their arms. wtf is with that? The clue is in the name, dancefloor!
I now f'kin HATE emos. I was previously of the opinion that those of us of the 'alternative' lifestyle persuasion stuck together, we certainly do in every other alt club i've been in, but emos seem to have some sub-culture superiority complex going on just cos they all look the same and thus are in the majority at such places. FUCK YOURSELF, EMO KIDS. You really are pathetic. Having to 'belong' amongst your clone chum and make other people feel somewhat uncomfortable in a place they should feel fine is lame.
I really wish one of the lame emo idiots in Newcastle would sort out an emo night, as it is they've just taken over all the Punk/Ska nights cos they were the quietest and they dont actually have anywhere else to go. If you're going to be part of such an elite scene could you atleast organise a place to do so as aposed to wrecking an existing one?
