| Bio: | In the spring of 2005, mesk taught a class on sexuality, identity, and the media in which she and her students wondered if the 1990s were really as gay as everyone makes them out to be. To this end, they read Entertainment Weekly alongside Foucault and enjoyed screenings that range from Shopping for Fangs to Smallville. In her spare time, mesk enjoys more television than is probably good for her, but it is research, after all, and lives in a symbiotic relationship with her laptop. | |||||
