- mens rea = guilty mind. So who / what am I ? I am naturally cynical but strive for optimism to counter this. I have no ambition but I believe in setting goals and attaining them. I am alone but rarely lonely because i live in my own mind (which is an exciting , if rather frightening place to be). When i face the world each day I do so as a 30 something lawyer who is confident, capable and creative. When I close the door on the world I am ME. I'm still figuring out who that is.
