hmmm... so its only been 2 years... [Friday 8:59pmOctober3rd] finalfantasy90 Wow..... So its been two years since I've even looked at this thing. After so long you just forget about things and for me this was it I guess. After Myspace (what a joke) and Facebook came out I guess this just seemed to be too much. But now that I just dont like ever look at my Myspace I guess I'll just look/update this sometimes. Well since the last time I updated was in 2006 a lot has happened. I finished high school. I graduated and am now at Western Michigan University. I'm kinda excited because CSI starts this Thursday! CSI:Miami, CSI:NY, and Criminal Minds have all started already, and each season opener was sooooo goood! I am predicting that the season premiere of CSI will be the best though. I dont really have much to say...but thats no different that 2 years ago apparently. I cant wait for the new Kingdom Hearts games to come out they are taking waaaay to long though. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is my favorite game at the moment...besides Final Fantasy 10 and Kingdom Hearts 2 (but I beat those so I needed a different game to play)...Of course I am always Link, Toon Link, or Zelda but mostly Link. I win a good amount of the time and I irritate people when I play so its all good. I irritate people on purpose by using my down + B move or surviving every hit that comes my way. T-Minus 21 [Friday 3:48pmOctober3rd] corneliousjd Well the big day comes in 21 days, the day me and Ang really start out lives together. There’s no turning back now, but thats not a problem at all, neither of us want to turn back. We both know we have to take a small step here to move out, its not terribly far from home, its certianly not in another state, but its something we need to do now, to start our lives together. It’s something we WANT to do as well, its a small step, while we plan ahead for the future. It’s going to be so great to come home to something that isn’t just mine, or isn’t just hers, but its OURS. Its our place, our kitchen, our living room, our love… our love is going to make that place so much more than just an apartment. It’s going to make it our HOME. Our careers are really starting to boom, my Systems Admin job is going well, I think I’m impressing some people, I’d really love to get full-time hours here, and I feel like thats something I can accompish. Ang has ofically started her student teaching “stuff” She does clasroom observations and turors every tuesday and thursday, and I can already tell she’s going to make one of the greatest teachers ever, the kids she ends up teaching are going to be so lucky. She’s so passionate about what she does, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that kind of passion in anybody before. I’m so proud of her, and I know all her hard work and dedication are going to pay off. Other than that, I feel a bit overwhelmed with everything we have to do in the next 21 days, packing could take up all that time even if I wasn’t working 2 jobs, but working this many hours I feel like I’ll never have time to get it done, not to mention getting renters insurance and getting the electic/cable/internet bills set up… I feel like I need to cut down to one job, but my IT job doesn’t pay as much as Starbucks, but I’m starting to not be able to stand it at Starbucks… It’s Friday right now, our schedule for THIS COMING WEEK, wasn’t up until yesterday. I’m sorry, but thats unacceptable and simply unprofessional. Long story short. Cisco Goings On [Tuesday 7:31pmSeptember30th] corneliousjd Well, just sitting here in Cisco class, learning about VLANS, and VTP, and trunking, blah blah blah, this class should have came before the in-depth routing protocols class, for sure. Anyhow, I’m doing very well, getting somewhere in the 80’s on all my tests so far, finished the first 2 Cisco classes with A’s, hoping I’ll do that here too. Michigan Drill is going well, created some new servers today, actually starting to “show my worth” there, once my new email system launches everything should go GREAT, just nervous about getting everybody used to it, especally Hy, the president, he seems wary about changes… Especailly if there’s a cost to it, which thankfully, there’s not.
