So this week has effing sucked. Actually, that's a bit of an understatement if I'm being honest, and you all know it. I don't really know how next week will be, how I'm going to do everything that I need to do next week, when I just keep thinking back to last week and concentrating on it.

One good thing that's come out of it is the extreme angst writing factor that's gone way up. So I'm working on turning this idea that I had MONTHS ago into a fic. Anyone up for reading it? Besides the people who've already said they would (Cat, Jo, Symone), of course. Trying to decide whether I should post the chapters on here or just PM them to who's reading them to get reactions and see what everyone thinks. Anyway, let me know, and if a summary is needed before you can decide...( under the cut, word for word from how I explained it to Cat )

If you have anymore questions about it, let me know and I probably have it written out or have the answer in my head. I've pretty much got this thought out.

Sorry for the long time without posting. It's been over two months, I know. I've been busy for the last two months, though. A lot has happened. My grandma's been in the hospital (for a little over two months) and I've signed up for school and classes. So much has happened that I don't even know what all to say as far as going into detail, though. Anyway, most of you guys probably already know all of this stuff if you have Twitter, but I just thought I would fill in you guys on here.

(And for you, Cat, this would be a valid reason for you to FINALLY write a HP fic/oneshot and get you prepared for your OotP fic).

But, anyway, back to the question. There are only six more weeks left until HBP comes out (yay!) Would any of you be interested in throwing together an impromptu round of flashfic just for the purpose? If we can get prompts in by either Friday or Saturday, I can get them sent back out and the deadline can be the 12th or 13th of July to give us a couple days to read the fics posted and get completely psyched (not that we aren't enough already) about the new movie. The writing will also give us something else to focus our minds and time on and in mine and Cat's case, help us with future HP fics.

...so, anyone up for it?

So...I've actually been doing some writing. Yay me! It's not much, but...it's some. It's the Blaise and Dean fic. And seriously...Blaise and Ginny are tearing into each other. I'm not sure which one's more bitchy in this. And is it sad that I'm having fun writing these awful insults? Which, while they kind of suck and aren't as great as some I've seen...are really quite mean.

And...cannot say enough that Lav Lav/Won Won/Hermione reminds me of Kendra/Der-bear/Casey. Not even kidding.

Okay. Just watched the preview for the new Degrassi tonight in Canada and Noah Reid is on it. Marshall Wheeler, boys and girls. And he knows how to handle a weapon. And I mean that literally, not figuratively. And let's just say...what goes around apparently comes around on the show and someone who had something to do with a shooting four years ago finds themself at the other end of the barrel this time. Poor guy doesn't get a break.

And...the most HP-ish line on Degrassi ever: "Ignore him. He's just trying to be a stupid hero."

hahahahaha. This Harold Snape guy on here's a weirdo, but his name sure does make me laugh. And honestly, dude, you want them to think you're not crazy...don't talk to the cat you killed. Don't say, "I did not kill you." Especially because it wants me to name the cat a certain name... So we have this guy and I want to see her old partner Evans who had eight fingers. They called him Reach. That just sounds...wow.

AmTam's back on TV, yay! Watching the Unusuals...I know you said you were going to watch it, Laura. And I think Cat and a few other people said they might...so, who's watching it? What do you all think so far?

My life sucks. That is all. Seriously...how did I screw it up so royally? No, I know. it's just...ugh. And I know it's my fault. And I've cried so much tonight and I just don't want to cry anymore.

So now I'm enjoying some ramen and playing with the Drabble maker. Dear Lord, and I thought the LWD ones were messed up. Even though it gave us nicknames like sweet drums and made fun of Vanessa Hudgens so fabulously. But seriously...wtf is up with this Drarry one? *is dead*


The Miracle Of The Unicorn

Draco hated Christmas. He didn't just dislike Christmas, he hated it like the Weasel loves food. He loathed it.

Every December, Draco would feel himself getting all purring inside. He refused to put up a Christmas pleasure, he snapped at anyone nonchalant enough to sing a carol in his vicinity, and he never, ever bought anybody any presents.

On December 13, Draco had to go to the mall to buy an abrasive book. When he got there, there were so many shoppers pushing roughly around and so much Christmas music blaring owlishly, he thought his nose would explode.

Finally, he was done. Just outside the door was a chivalrous man collecting for charity. Draco never gave to charity, so he started to walk past without a word.

Suddenly, the chivalrous man dropped his bells and ran in a boat. There was a stimulating unicorn right in the path of an oncoming truck. But the chivalrous man slipped and fell, so now they were both in danger!

Draco rushed out and greedily pushed them both out of the way. There was a enchanted bang and then everything went dark.

When Draco woke up, he was in a lewd room. There was a Christmas pleasure in the corner and soft carols were playing. Also, Draco's clavicle hurt. A lot.

The chivalrous man came into the room. "I'm so itchy!" he said. "You're awake. My name is Harry. You saved me from the truck. But your clavicle is broken."

Draco hardly knew what to say. Even though there was a Christmas pleasure up and his clavicle was broken, he felt quite green, especially when he looked at Harry.

"Your clavicle must hurt arrogantly," Harry said. "I think this will help." And he flew Draco several times.

Now Draco felt very green indeed. He didn't hate Christmas at all now. In fact, he loved it. And he loved Harry. "I love you," he said, and kissed Harry deceivingly.

"I love you too," said Harry. Just then, the unicorn ran into the room and nuzzled Draco's big toe. "I brought him home with us," Harry said.

"We'll call him Miracle," Draco said. "Our Christmas Miracle."

It was the best Christmas ever.

Seriously. I saw this and wanted to answer, but I can't say too much, can I? Hrm.

So just forget everything except that I vote yes.

Now, there are two different sets of instructions I suppose...one for doing it on your own and one for participating.

Now, for participating (only this way on mine, changes from person to person):

1. Pick one of the following fandoms:
Harry Potter
Life with Derek
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

2. Pick a number one through ten.

3. Pick another number one through twenty.

4. I will comment back with one character/pairing which coincides with the first number on a list that I already have and a song that coincides with the second number.

5. Write a fic about the character/pairing from the first number somehow using the song(plot, passing mention, inspiration, anything) from the second number.

If you want to do this yourself, make a list using three different fandoms...numbering characters and pairings that you can think of one through ten, then, place your media player (iTunes) on shuffle and make a second list one through twenty of the songs that come up.

Ugh. So...I have an idea for a meme, but I'm not sure if I want to make it or not because I'm not sure if you all will like it.

Also, am freezing my butt off and have a bad case of the hiccups. Want them gone now and have just noticed I'm out of water. Blah. Brrrr...

Going to my bedroom in just a bit, but am still not tired. Will probably try to get some writing done. Was wondering if anyone cared to pass on any oneshot plotbunnies to me that I could work on (preferably not for LWD, I have about five or six of those already) while working on my WIP and the songfics for you guys.

And "The Pursuit of Hilarity" doesn't count. Because I will write that...eventually. Just have to figure out if they use the Nightmare things (what should they call them?) or if Tonks is involved like we discussed.

Anyway...I'm open to suggestions. Feel free to share any that you may have.
