Busy Weekend

Well sorry I skipped a few days, but hopefully I will update daily from now on. This weekend it was hard to get on the computer long enough to do anything though. I ended up having alot of fun, but the lack of sleep is still affecting me as I type.

The craziness started out on Friday. I surprised Audra at Skin Deep with some Starbucks and hungout there until she was done. Then, Lisa, Audra, and I went back to Audra's house and hungout for a while. Lisa had this senior project thing to do and she asked me questions about my school and whatnot. Haha I made her include this quote, "Last year we were the best at every sport and killed every team. This year, with only half the players, we win MOST games, not ALL." <- Speaking about Sachem Athletics. After we were done with the interview thing and were hanging out, Audra's dad comes home and was like hey guys ummm you might want to go outside and check your cars out. We were like WTF? and ran outside. It turns out that in an act of revenge against Audra and Lisa, Deanna, this "Rhino" girl, and Stephanie trashed our cars with lotion, toilet paper, tampons, and pads. They got my car the worst and there is still lotion all over it. I couldn't get it off because that night was freezing and the lotion froze to my car. SooOOoo we had to get them back of course. We hastily cleaned our cars and ran to King Kullen. There we bought a huge bag of kitty litter, packages of sauerkraut, Magical Shell fudge, Silly string, pixy sticks(like 1000), and vasoline. We went next-door to 7/11 and bought condoms. We also had about four torrid bottles of water in the car. So we had our ammo, but no targets. We had no clue where there cars were parked, so we drove around looking for this rhino girls house. We finally figured out that they weren't there and were at Deanna's watching a movie. So we went there and planned our attack. Audra and Lisa jumped out first with the torrid water. They soaked both cars, including me, and went back to get the stuff to make stick to the cars. I jumped out with the condoms all lubed up so they looked used. I lubed the outsides too so when they tried to untie them from their windshield wipers and antennas, it felt gross. I brought with me also the jar of vasoline. I lubed up all the car handles on both cars and both sets of windshield wipers. Audra and Lisa then went at it with the kitty litter. They covered both cars with the litter and the pixy sticks. Then we all did the sauerkraut. Audra couldn't open it, so i threw it on the ground and popped it(my hands had vasoline on them). Audra then grabbed the nasty smelling stuff off the ground and started throwing it at the cars. It was gross. Finally, we silly stringed them for finishing touches and the battle was won. Those girls said that they got us better, but you can look at Audra's webshots, and clearly we won.

Anyway, Lisa left Audra's around 1-ish and then I hungout and we got Wendy's. I went home later and then the next day I had to wake up early, so my sleep deficiency already started. Then, Saturday night, all my friends went to a new club called Fusion. I thought it was awesome. We had the ski trip the next day, so my car left the club at around 2-30ish I think. I dropped off Danny, KT Mac, Jenny and Ashley, and Mark and I went to my house to get ready for skiing. We got home and realized that since we had to get up at 4 anyway, it was pointless to sleep. So I just packed my ski stuff and then by the time I was done, it was time to leave. So my sleep deficiency continued. Then, Sunday morning, we took a bus to Catamount and skiied the whole day. I love skiing so it was amazing, even though the mountain there is sort of.... beginner. The only bad part was when I attempted to grind a huge snowboarder rail in the terrain park. It was going well for the initial few feet, then I tried to jump off, and slipped and fell right on my right ass cheek on the rail. It hurt so much, and I couldn't even more my right leg. We skiied a little after that(thank god I injured my ass at the end of the day or I wouldn't have been able to continue) and then went home. Some kid had to g to the hospital from our bus earlier in the day, so our bus had to make a detour to pick him up. That made us late. We were supposed to get home at 7:15, but we ended up getting home at 8. Guess what I did then....

I went and played soccer from 8-9-ish. It was terrible for my ass to play. I really sucked that game, but it's okay since we won like 8-3 anyway. First game I didn't score, but me and vinny finally made it there at half time so I didn't have the whole game to play anyway :P. Then, Audra came to my game and I hungout with her after. By the time I got home Sunday night, I was dead, my ass hurt, and I was exhausted. That tiredness carried over through yesterday and today, when finally I took a two hour nap after school and I feel a bit rejuvenated, which is why I am updating my journal.

Yeah so that's been my weekend/week so far. Was lots of fun, but very tiring.

-Matt

Oh wait, I had part two of the Princeton interview, and I thought it went great. The alumni Bari, was the coolest lady and she sold me into wanting to go to Princeton. It is either my 1 or 2 choice now, but my chances of getting in aren't as high as I would like. Either way, the interview was a great experience and I had lots of fun.

So I'm doing this Tsunami Paper and it's death. I never thought I'd have to do it, but I actually need to cut some of my writing out because I went over the page limit. Funny note about thsi paper, if that I told my mom if she wanted to use my computer last night, that she had to find some information on tsunamis first and read about them. She did that and now she is bent on selling our house and moving because she found a fact that said, "within the next 50 years, the Eastern Seaboard of the United States will gets cracked with a tsunami." So my mom is flipping out and wants to move to Minnesota. Honestly, what is in Minnesota? I'm glad that we built that ginormous, weird extension on our house, so no one will buy it now. It's kind of sad that my mom believes what she reads on the internet. :P After this paper I have to do my Math MidTerm, which I have no idea how to do the stuff. Cody if you read this, call me about math.

Anyway, last night was fun. I started out going to Vinny's house to pick his lazy ass up. He was still sleeping when I got there. We stayed there for a little bit because he refused to get ready and we were talking to Pa. He is leaving for the Phillipines for like ever so that was cool. Then, basically all of us went to Albert's. We hungout there for a bit and then we were off to Jarred Devito's party thingy. The only member we were missing was Stevie. He was with Jen though because it was her birthday, fair enough. Happy Birthday Jen. Yeah so after a somewhat brief stay at Jarred's, we got in touch with Erin and went over there. That was fun, hanging out with my real friends. Scategories an awesome game by the way, except the fact the I am sure Spoli and Mark were either reading my mind or cheating off me. Haha. Anyway, I didn't get to hangout with Audra which sucked, but my Verizon phone apparently didn't work last night so I couldn't call anyone or get calls. Weird. That was about my whole night, minus me driving some friends home and sleeping at home. Nothing extravagant but still lots of fun. Oh and that Plastic reference is still irking me. Mark and I talked about it and he says it's very true and that I'm closest to Regina George. She's the bitchy one, which sucks :-/. Whatever... High school is awesome for me.

This is me returning to my paper, attempting to do my Math midterm and then getting ready and working till 8 at AKids. Oh and yes I forgot, congratulations to our newest employee, KT Mac. She got the job at AKids the other day and I can't wait to work with her. ;)

-Matt

Well, I haven't done this in a while...

This is me bored and writing in this journal because I cannot seem to force myself into writing my Tsunami Paper. Atmospheric Science is a joke anyway and she thinks people are actually going to write this paper. Well anyway, I don't expect anyone to read this, now with all this myspace crap going on. I hate myspace. People need to develop social skills and meet others in real life, not on the internet. Although, I have heard one success story from myspace. A co-worker of mine is now enjoying the "fruits" of her myspace boyfriend, as he is crashing with her during his stay in New York.
Anyway, I really have fun writing in this thing, it's surprising. I deleted all my old entries. The junior-year me was a bit too rambunkcious for me to be reminded of.

Updates on My Life:

Audra... What else do I have to say? We hangout everyday and she is the best girlfriend I could possibly imagine. Our five month anniversary was yesterday and we spent the day just hanging out at her house. It was so much fun, as always.

College... Umm yeah so this is complicated. I applied. :-/ Some pretty tough schools I applied to, and haven't heard anything yet. My number one and two choice are Columbia and NYU, respectively. I applied to some other IV's and some high end division one schools. The only school I heard from was Princeton. I had part one of my interview with a lovely woman named Bari George. A combination of her enjoying the interview and the heavy snow falling, made her send me home and reschedule a part two, to finish the interview. The weird thing is, I didn't apply to Princeton. Anyway, I heard from two soccer coaches as well. Which is a good segue into my next update...

Soccer... I haven't been playing much lately. I love indoor, and it seems that I never get a chance to play. Chiefs practice is often cancelled and with so many players being on the team, playing time in the games is hard to come by. I wish HOTA still existed... :-/ I love the Chiefs, but we played so much with HOTA and I felt like I constantly improved my game there. As for college soccer, the NYU and Columbia coaches contacted me. The NYU coach apparently wants me to play there and I am very excited about that I must admit. I think he will help me out by finding some funds for me to lessen one of the most expensive tuitions of any college in the world. The Columbia coach said that he would like to see me get into his school on merit, but IF (fingers crossed) I do get in, he definitely has room for me on his squad. That's about it for soccer.

Family...
My real family is doing well, we just book a hotel in Punto Cana (Dominican Republic) for my Grandma's (The Guutch) 80th birthday. My whole entire family and some aunts/uncles/cousins are going. I can't wait.
As for THE FAMILY, we are doing well, a few trivial disagreements were settled last night at our latest gathering. This one took place at Vinny's house and was a great time, even though I arrived a bit late. With Family, the party never stops. We were, however, missing one member. He didn't feel well. ;) RRRrrrrrighttt. lol Anyway, just about all of us have girlfriends now which is extremely strange. Just a few months ago, it seemed like we were the pimps who got all the girls. Weird how each one of us have settled down and seem to be happy. But.... there will always be that one member who never can handle just being with one girl. He knows who he is ;) Haha funny thought: The Family was recently compared to the likes of "The Plastics" from Mean Girls, and the more I think about it, the more it is true. It's kind of a bad thing though. :-/ Oh well, I think for some members, getting girlfriends made their attitudes worse towards other people and for others it helped them out to be nicer. It weird how people change... Anyway, Family is still the one thing that is stationary in Sachem and will never change. They can try and divide us, but it doesn't work.

Work... Nothing really to update about here. I still work at AKids, except now with the limited hours, it seems like I am getting closer and closer to unemployment. It doesn't bother me though. I will just have to stop buying new things. Although, now that I am 18, I am applying for a serving job at Fridays. My sister works there and she said I have a good chance of getting a job. I will make cash money there in tips. Can't wait to be loaded...

That's about all for now...
Words of Wisdom: Enjoy your senior year while it lasts...

P.S. I only carry big things if you know what I mean. :P
