BioElise had the typical middle-class childhood. She had plenty of toys and clothes, but wasn't spoiled, and had help paying for college from her parents. In high school, Elise was the president of the Drama Club, earned a black belt in Judo, and won the special scholarships for those students intending to become teachers. Having just finished her Master's in Education, she's taken a job in an inner-Metropolis high school, teaching history. She lives in the same neighborhood as her students, and teaches self-defense classes twice a week at the local Y.
