     I’ll introduce you to the monster,
      the monster that rests inside of me, reminding me
             that it’s feeding off of me, until my brittle
bones,
  break.

     It screams Monster! Monster! as it crawls in, and out
of my crevices.

The monster and I, have been good friends since the day of my
birth,
      it is always present,
        lingering it’s gnarly teeth,
            Waiting for my next move.

        and without any warning,
        It will strike out a greedy hand,
        and snatch me away,
        from everything,
        that I once loved.

   Here is my story, of my life, walking hand in hand,

                with the MONSTER.
