halloween

halloween this year was a bit more subdued than in previous years; maybe it's that I'm getting older, maybe it's that the british don't really do halloween or maybe it's because halloween landed on a monday this year. in any case, I did get dressed up and ate some bite-sized candies and had a good time :)

of course, pumpkin carving was involved! emily came over one day and we carved up some pumpkins, ate some pumpkin seeds and watched a zorro film!

then on the actual day, fergus and I worked at the bell inn for their halloween party. it was a really fun night, I dressed as a zombie sailor and fergus bought a head-to-toe zorro outfit! he looked AMAZING! definitely the best dressed there by far!
