It's that time of year again~~~~

I'm trying to keep track of them all myself, but it never hurts in case I have a brain hiccup and miss seeing one.

I don't really watch much TV anymore, but this made me squee with fannish joy. Oh Los Angeles, live up to your namesake. I BELIEVE IN YOU.

Came home from work today to this God awful noise coming from the laundry room. The treadmill was on at around 5 or 6 mph, just spinning, and I was the only one home. I was all wtf but figured somehow someone forgot to turn it off, so I went to.

And saw no lights on, none of the buttons worked, and the power key was hanging off to the side not inserted. So really, I hit everything a couple times, kicked it, and put the key in and out just to see. Still it spun.

Naturally I did what any reasonable person would do considering the circumstances.

*ring ring*
Mom: Hello?
Me: Mom.
Mom: HI, HONEY~~~~ :D :D :D (seriously that's how she answers once she realizes it's me)
Me: THE TREADMILL'S POSSESSED O_O
Mom: ...what?
Me: *explains situation, including how I found things that had apparently been sitting on the treadmill splayed out on the floor from being flung off*
Mom: *laughs at my pain*
Me: D:




Five minutes after this conversation I experimentally shouted 'Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong' down the stairs to see if the treadmill was secretly an Autobot.

It stopped.

SO THIS OTAKON THING HAPPENED THE OTHER DAY. And I went. And took pictures. Since I am a lazy bum, I'm just going to share some of the AWESOME PICTURES I took, as opposed to attempting to type up anything resembling sense.

Also I saw a couple phone number posts on the flist earlier. I don't know if it's too late or if they're mainly for people staying with the main CFUD group, but I'm gonna respond to those now.

By the way, anyone from CFUD know if there's a gathering? I haven't heard anything but I'm also oblivious.

There was going to be a semi-long sobby post here about about how I really need to kick life's ass, and then kick mine in gear and get back to more active RPing.

-Drive long distance to movie theater (Danni and Andrew wanted to meet up with college friends so they picked a place that's sort of midway between where everyone lives...which is all over the state)
-Dinner!
-Wander the adjacent mall until it closes
-??? (I'm going with breaking out the PSP)
-MIDNIGHT SHOWING OF REVENGE OF THE FALLEN (It had better be good, Bay, IT HAD BETTER BE GOOD)

We've extended the room reservation to three nights, July 16-19; Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, with checkout on Sunday at noon and check in on Thursday at 4 pm. The total cost is $885.30 (room discount because of the extra night! \o/)

It will be $177.06 per person.

I just slept from 6 p.m. yesterday afternoon until 5 this morning.

And it was fantastic. Except for the part where I missed shit going down at CFUD


Also saw both Star Trek and Wolverine. They were also fantastic.

Two part season (series? D: D: D:) finale starts next week why is this show so epic OMG. Season 3 went by so fast, guys. Probably because Transwarped counted as three episodes but still. D:

More Revenge of the Fallen clips up! :DDDDDDD

The scene at the beginning with Bumblebee still not talking and Sam breaking up with him and random Megan Fox stripping was what. But the rest was awesome. Sideswipe and Jetfire kick ass and oh ho! Was that Blackout? Does that mean Jazz might come back too no I am never giving up on this

I...have no idea if I'm going to like this movie or not, but man, I need to see it.

Despite it being out already overseas, I decided to avoid brainbreakspoilers for Dragonball Evolution until it came out in the States. So. Saw it last night.

Dear Michael Bay,

I'm praying to God that this is just a rather tasteless part of your 'Misinformation about TF2' campaign. I mean, I never was happy about the character being included in the movie, particularly in the manner it appears you are intending to present them in, but holy crap if this is the way you're going to talk about the situation than you really are one Huge Asshole.

Revenge of the Fallen better be AWESOME, mister, because your attitude towards my childhood sucks.
