Why am I working in costumer service? Why? I hate people, I'm annoyed by them, I'm about ready to steal Timi's steak knife... *ahem*

Today, this woman comes in, says: "I want a 5 dollar card" cool, cool. But five dollars will only get you so far, anyways- she comes up an hour later and get's two more dollars, after I rang it up, gave her a recite, she just like... walks a few steps [still by the counter though] and turns around and interrupts me when I'm with another guest [we call them guests, weird, eh?] and says she didn't want the two dollars anymore, she wants a refund.

So I tell her that I would have to call my manager up, but he was really busy at the moment. I also told her after that, that the card is good up to two years with/without the credits/money on it. But says she wants her money back, that's TWO dollars. *growls*

So I call Carlo to the Card Hostess [my job] stand, I called him out of a meeting/interview for two dollars, TWO DOLLARS! I was mortified, I couldn't believe it. Carlo was cool about it, but still, you don't have someone call their manager out of a meeting/interview over two dollars.

It's just not fucking right.

Oh well, such is life.
