My entire paid-for LiveJournal was deleted without notice by the LJKGB, because I posted some publically available information that had been deliberately made available by the person concerned. LiveJournal did not refund me any of the money I had paid. They turned down all offers to resolve the conflict, even though I offered to delete the offending post. You're welcome to read about the whole thing, though it's ancient news now.
This account is purely here so I can keep up with people who insist on continuing to use LiveJournal.
I mostly post using OpenID. However, LiveJournal's OpenID support is still half-assed, and counts logged in OpenID users as anonymous. It doesn't support XRIs either, so the posts appear under a domain name rather than my user name. Oh, and it often mangles HTML links, and there's no easy way to use it to get access to friends-locked postings. But other than that, it's great.
I will not be posting my actual journal here, for obvious reasons. I don't use LiveJournal to read journals either. If you go to my web site you'll find my actual journal, and links to my accounts on Twitter, Google+, and so on.
