Ahhh... It's been an incredibly long while. I'm not even going to try to sum up everything that has happened since the last time I updated this thing... Waaay too much to even try to touch upon. But all in all, I've finished my first year of college and am looking forward to starting my sophomore year in a few weeks time.

The only reason I'm posting today is... well, to fangirl, sort of. I didn't really have any intention to post anything, but catching up on DBSK today has made me really nostalgic >.<
It's crazy; I have not kept up with DBSK for most of the past year because of school and whatnot... I guess it's a natural part of growing up, in a way. But after randomly deciding to check up on the latest DB-going ons today... I felt like on the one hand, I was happy that I'd moved away from being obsessive fangirl since I have so many more important things to be focusing on... but on the other hand, I weirdly missed that carefree, mindless fangirling over pretty boys I'd never meet. (They're easier to deal with than real boy-drama, for one. Not to mention a heck of a lot prettier to look at...). But anyway, the recent lawsuit issue of course came as a shock. But I was also happy to see the Boys finally fighting for their own rights. It's sick how overworked they are and how poorly SM treats them. It saddens me a lot, because I used to admire SM so much for putting out such a bunch of great artists... but it's just disgusting how they treat them. So I wish Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun the best... because this isn't just for them; it's for all the other artists under SM's dominion too.
The entire breakup threat/rumor mill is sort of ... @_@. I mean, I've been a fan long enough (almost 4 years, I can't believe it...) to have heard plenty of breakup rumors go around. But it's never been this real. Yet I've also never heard the Boys step out and insist so publicly that they will stay together before this either. And when they are that insistent, it does reassure me. And their courage, their dedication to each other and to the fans, and the fan outpouring of love and support, it all makes me proud to be a DBSK fan.

I can't believe it's been four years since the first time I ever heard of Dong Bang Shin Ki... On the one hand, it's hard to believe it's been such a long time, yet on the other, it feels like I've been following them for much longer.
Of course I still remember the first time I saw them: I was in China at the time, browsing through Channel V because I was bored. This music video came on, and the pretty song instantly caught my attention... such a sweet melody... And it was a pretty video too; a bright video set in a spacious white house and 5 singers. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out if the one in the middle with the long hair was male or female though, LOL. Anyway, I remember copying down the Chinese translated title of the song and the artist and later coming back home and finding that song. But for some reason, I couldn't find out anymore about the group itself... Fast forward a couple months and I'm browsing an F4 forum/fansite when I stumble across this thread for "Korean sensation TVXQ"... As soon as I opened that link, I instantly recognized that beautiful (androgynous) face.... And I guess the rest is basically history.

Anyway... that's enough nostalgic fangirly-ness for one night... Back to work!

TVXQ fighting~
Always keep the faith.

Happy Thanksgiving! ♥

Damn, it's been a while... My poor neglected LJ finally has a new layout =) A really simple one, but a new one nonetheless =) Yaay for smexy Dong Bang xD

So, what's new... Well, I'm currently back at home for Thanksgiving break =) And I have two weeks of the semester left once I go back @_@ I can't believe my first semester of college is almost over! I feel so...underachieved =( It's been a blast, but I wish I had gotten more done... So next semester will be super-productive, I swear!

I feel too lazy to update on all the happenings in the past month right now >.< Honestly, I should probably be sleeping.... but my sleep schedule has gotten so messed up; 2:30 am is still early xD But lots to do (i.e. cook and eat) tomorrow... and I just love being able to sleep in my own bed xD

Happy Turkey Day, all =)

I'm home! And it's cold D=
But it's so nice to be back and see my family... and eat real food! xD
I also got a haircut.... and it's once again too short D= I'm beginning to suspect that I will never have hair longer than shoulder-length. *sigh* oh well.

Anyways, something I got off of [info]yrpreciousheart:

The Big Read thinks the average adult has only read six of the top 100 books they've printed below.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read/read part of but never finished.
3) Underline the books you LOVE or pretty much enjoyed.
4) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them.
