- You are neither a subdued loner nor a jovial chatterbox. You enjoy time with others but also time alone. (Okay, cool i suppose)
- Stressful and frustrating situations can often be upsetting to you, but you are sometimes able to get over these feelings and cope with these situations. (Only sometimes? what the hell do i do otherwise?)
- You have a great desire for tradition. (Oh yeah, meat and potatoes all the way)
- Your thinking is quite complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not quite an intellectual. (You guys don't think i'm an intellectual!? Well, fine, bitches!)
- You have some concern with others' needs, and are generally pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. (Please note, i have only SOME concern. Hehe)
- You feel enraged when things do not go your way and are sensitive about being treated fairly and feel resentful and bitter if you think you are being cheated. (Enraged is the word, my friends)

- You are not generally self conscious about yourself. (Are you sure, computer?)
- You make friends quickly (Hell yeah. People just love me)

- You love beauty, both in art and in nature. You become quickly involved and absorbed in artistic and natural events. (Aw, that's nice, isn't it?)
- You tend not to express your emotions openly and are sometimes not even aware of your own feelings. (You mean like you are, computer?)
- You like to debate intellectual issues and often enjoy riddles, puzzles and brain teasers. (All of which leave me feeling dumb)
- You often you exhibit a readiness to challenge authority. Sometimes you feel a certain degree of hostility toward rules and perhaps even enjoy ambiguity. (I totally should have been in the sex pistols)
- You are wary and hold back from trusting people completely. (But people is sometimes kind)
- You do not enjoy confrontation, but you will stand up for yourself or push your point if you feel it is important. (Yep, true)

- Your work tends to be careless and disorganized. In general you tend to be messy and scattered. You find contracts, rules, and regulations overly confining and are sometimes seen as unreliable or even irresponsible by others. (Oh, shit. Really!?)
- You find yourself procrastinating and show poor follow-through on tasks. Often you fail to complete tasks - even tasks that you want very much to complete. (Is it just me or is this description of myself getting worse as it goes along?)
- Above all, your main personality traits are passionate and cheerful. (Aw, yaye!!)

So, what have i learnt?

I sometimes do stuff and sometimes do not.

Awesome ... ?

Littlun finally has dementia

I'm going mad. No, I mean it. Really, I do.
I keep forgetting everthing, like everything. I forgot to meet my friend for coffee this morning. I forgot to pick up my thesis books (haha, oh well. goodbye thesis!). I forgot to pay my gas AND electric bill (do i really need both!? surely i can make do with a tin bath and a pair of gloves ..). I had to go to a christening and i forgot to get a present and THEN forgot to even go to the damn thing (i don't even know the kid. she could have 666 burned on her skull for all that i know). i forgot my credit card pin number(probably a good thing). i find myself randomly somewhere in my house and forget what i'm doing there (sleepwalking?). I forget to go to sleep! i forget to eat! (i have lost 17lb in four weeks because of this ...)
Last week, my sister forgot her age. yes, she actually did. So i can only gather this is something that runs in the Littlun blood lines.
In a few short minutes, i'll probably even forget why i'm writing this post. and then i'll re-read it and forget that it's true.
I'm 21. This should not be happening. I'm going to eat some salmon for some brain power, assuming i remember what salmon is.

Yeah, i'll take that.

In other news,
- West Ham won 3 - 1 against Charlton .. come on, my hammers!!! I've decided that if they get to the FA cup final again, i'm gonna get the hammers tattooed somewhere on my person.
- I'm hatching a plan to get my sister engaged to her boyfriend. It's been 7 years you fool! Get a ring on her flippin' finger already!
- Yesterday i got the countdown conundrum on Countdown, and solved both the maths problems when the idiot contestants did not. Go me. Uh huh.
- I miss deal or no deal!
- I watch too much TV ...
- I'm on a mission to find girlfriends for two love forlorn mates of mine. Any takers?
- I'm so desperate for cashio that i'm delivering 438 yellow pages for £57. I figure the damn fine people of ye olde yellowe pages have done so much for me over the years that i may as well return the favour.
- I really fancy driving to scotland. or perhaps wales. just for the taste of it. and i love car rides in the night. now, as i don't drive, this may be difficult.
- Sky sports .. WHY do u insist on showing liverpool games and not a flicker of west ham? did west ham not get to the finals with them? is it cos steven gerrard and his odd hairline are so much more screen friendly? is it cos ur all dicks?

Farewell for today fandom, I love you all like a writer strolling through the park loves a girl he sees, sitting on a bench and reading his book. Like when she gets bitten by a vampire and turns into a souless human-is-lunch creature, he still can't find it in himself to push that stake through her heart. Like when he does, her eyes open wide, her porceline fangs stab out as viciously as knives, and for a instant, before she dies, he sees a glimmer of the same girl he saw sitting in the park, reading his book. I love you all like that.

(five points to whoever can figure out what THAT'S all about (alfie))

WORLD CUP SPAM

Jesus fucking christ that was close.

I watched the match in the Garrick Arms in Leicester Square with my aforementioned crazy flatmates. Great atmosphere. Was in there from 2:30pm waiting for the 8pm kick-off, and later worked out that we drank for a solid ten hours ... ick.

Anyways, on to my football rants ...

1. first half was pretty damn good. Part od me actually thought, now this is england back to their standards, but alas, how quickly did it go downhill? Owen going off was just excruciating to watch, could not have been a worse start. I know the guy hasn't been all that of late, but he wasn't totally match fit, and he best performs when next to Rooney. So what's gonna happen there? I doubt Rooney will perform to his best standards without that partnership. There's no other striker on the team that matches his pace.

2. One word, Cole. What a gem!! what an utter diamond! i hope he can save the day after loosing Owen.

3. The second half was a complete nightmare to watch. Not only did they equalize twice, those goals came at the most painful times possible .. the beginning of the second half and fucking injury time.. ouch! it really did hurt to see those. Although i must say they were among the messiest goals i've seen this world cup. Puts me in mind of the West Ham's goals in the West Ham vs Liverpool FA Cup final (God bless my boys, West Ham!). Englands goals were better, but our defence was severely lacking in the 2nd half.

4. SOL CAMPBELL!! WHAT THE FLYING FUCK!? YOU HAVE A FUCKING HEAD FOR A REASON! USE THE GODDAMN THING! IT'S BAD ENOUGH WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH RIO FERDINAND, WHO'S PRETTY MUCH A CONSTANT LIABILITY, LET ALONE HIM BEING SUBBED BY YOU. YOU COULD'VE LOST US THE GAME YOU TWAT!

5. Now, can Sven do his maths? Erm .. No. Not only were we a striker short when we arrived in Germany, now were down to three. THREE. Count it people! one, two, THREE!! And this is including novis, Theo Walcott, who Sven has as good as said "i will never play him". Well, Sven it looks like your gonna be forced to. You look like a zippy lad to me, so hopefully you might prove as a good match with Rooney on any other day, but in the world cup? are you really good enough to play with the big guns? I doubt it, and i hope to dear god i'm wrong. I can only pray Sven is fooling us all and he's our secret weapon, even secret to the freakin' fans. I have an odd faith that old Walcott will come through if given the chance? Just have to wait and see i guess.

6. My hopes for the future .. aswell as Gerrard, Crouch, Cole, Rooney ... Lennon. I think that kid is going places, i really do. Why Sven left Hesky and DeFoe at home i will never understand. I mean, jesus, DeFoe!! He really coulda done it for us. and does anyone else think we should be going for the 5-5-1 formation? We could really be pushing up from midfield instead of those fucking useless long balls, especially now Rooney's out.

7. How do i feel about Ecuador? Well, it's easy to dismiss them Effectively England should come through. But when have England ever done what they SHOULD do? Erm .. not often. Ecuador were hot stuff in the group games, despite their 3-0 thrashing by Germany yesterday. I mean, they were resting 5 of their star players afterall AND they beat the almighty Brazil in the qualifiers last year. so .. who knows? I hate to admit it but i'd rather go out by Germany than Ecuador. At least we have the history, y'know? If we win against Ecuador, then the next match is most likley Holland, which i'd be happy with. I mean, Holland are pretty much the same as England, Amazing when they're on form and fucking shit when they're shit. and, brace yourself people, i think they're just as bad, if not worse, at penalty shoot-outs as we are. Holland are a good prospect. They're certainly beatable, considering we beat then 4-1 in the 2002 world cup, but they're also good enough to not feel pitable loosing to them. But i wont get ahead of myself, first, Ecuador.

So thats it. Thank you my fellow world cup enthusiasts. Sorry, my HP fandomers who don't give a toss

And in other news .. I hope all you guys in the UK watched the Art series thing with Laurence Lewellen Bowen last night (BB2 8pm) BECAUSE I WAS ON IT!! I was hired as a 'performing artist' for the royal academy summer exhibition view with all those lovely stars. most importantly, EWAN MCGREGOR! I was on camera twice and had a yellow ribbon in my hair. yaye!

love u all. Lit x

RANTING TIME

i do believe my flatmate has gone completely mental.

BASICALLY, he was seeing this girl who is a dear dear friend of our other flatmates, but they broke it off because she didn't believe in sex before marriage and he's a horny virgin. Ans what a typical bloke, his words to me at the time were "I just don't see what else we can do other than have sex" ... well, obviously he wasn't aware he was talking to a female there so i saved him the lecture, and just burst out laughing.

Anyways, so i thought it was all done and dusted. But, 2 months on, we all went out to a club and she got a bit of attention from the guys and he goes mental and drags her outside. Again, i just thought it was funny so i left them to it.
THEN, she came round to see our other flatmate oneday (As i have mentioned they are dear dear friends) and she slept over, in the other flatmates room. But in the middle of the night he sent her a text saying "when are you coming to bed?", well obviously she was like "erm .. i'm already in bed."
THEN we were all having a chat about just stuff the other day and she commented on how out other flatmates, her freind, was really annoying to sleep in the same room him. and he jumps up angrily and says "DON'T TALK ABOUT SLEEPING IN THE SAME ROOM AS HER!"

So yesterday they met up and decided to put an end to all the craziness, and thankgod cos it's all i ever bloody well hear about these days. But then when they left he kept trying to kiss her and she had to turn her head away about a zillion times. and when she said she would be texting him anymore (yoy know, THOSE kinds of text messages) he was like "oh please do i love them"

So, i'm just like, get over it alraedy and shut the 'ef up. I mean, really. I actually have no sympathy for either of them. It's just boring and weirdly schizo now.

That's my rant. Byeee

p.s i have some art coming soon (OMG! YES ITS ABOUT TIME!)
P.P.S COME ON, ENGLAND!! DON'T YOU DARE PUT ON OUT WORST SQUAD TO AVOID GERMANY IN THE K.O STAGES SVEN!! THAT'S A PUSSY'S WAY OF PLAYING!

Word Cup spammage

well,

we didn't play as bad as we did against paraguay. As a matter a fact i think we played pretty good despite what the commentators were saying. i mean, we had possession all the way through. We did good. We created a lot of opportunities that didn't depend on the other teams weaknessess. It's just that T and T were very good at defending, so good on them, i say. we certainly put up a better game than sweden did against them. Now i'm rooting for paraguay to win against sweden .. and the games pretty dull at the moment ... and you would not believe it, but as i typed that, Sweden just bloody well scored. Shit.

It takes the pressure off for the sweden game, as we don't have a particularly good record against sweden, and i would pretty much be having a cardiac arrest if that game was a crucial one.

Now i'm just shit scared about meeting Germany in the knock-out round.

Note to Sven: REST ROONEY FOR THE SWEDEN GAME!!! IT'LL MAKE THE KID HUNGRIER FOR THE KO!! (and put Walcott on, i wanna see this wonderboy already!)

Sorry but ...

As devoted i am to Harry Potter, and the fun and wanking hours it brings me, JK Rowling the best living british author?

Leaky Cauldron, have you gone mad?!

http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/#article:8736

A lot of money does not qualify you as the best author

A story that has kept us interested? Yes
Horny boys sharing a dormitory and innuendos a-plenty? Yes
Fine writing? NO!

You want some real fine authors?

Richard Yates
Raymond Carver
Philip Pullman
J.D Salinger
William Golding

And before you guys jump on me like the vultures that you are, i'm aware that the majority of the above aren't british, or still alive. My point is, THIS is the standard to live up to.

Thank you (and sorry for calling you vultures)

A smile and a ribbon in my hair ...

A smile is something special
A ribbon is something rare!
So I'll be special and I'll be rare
With a smile and a ribbon in my hair!

To be a girl they notice
Takes more than a fancy dress!
So I'll be noticed because I'll dress
With a smile and a ribbon in my tresses!

The bigger my toothy grin is
The smaller my troubles grow!
The louder I say 'I'm happy'
The more I believe it so!

So I'll have that extra something
Cause I know what to wear!
So I'll be special and I'll be rare
I'll be something beyond compare
I'll be noticed because I'll wear
A smile and a ribbon in my hair!
