A Little Jermyn Street in New York [05 Oct 2008|10:35pm] refinement [cargoweasel] My love and I are travelling to the Caribbean on the Queen Mary 2 in six weeks' time and so I needed to get some new clothes.  My normal ensembles from messrs. J Crew and R. Lauren would be entirely inadequate for this trip.  Plus, having a little bit of the oof to spare given a recent arrival of some back pay, it's a good time for a wardrobe upgrade.  A visit to Paul Stuart netted a peak lapel dinner jacket for the formal evenings aboard ship, but I still needed a shirt or two.  There was only one place to go: Turnbull & Asser. [05 Oct 2008|04:02pm] reeewindd [ music | Lady Antebellum- Never Alone. ] been a busy week, feel like i've been painting & writing forever. found a few things that i had got for christmas that will come in handy for my glass painting. i've been listening to more music the past while, faith hill, miranda lambert, the dixie chicks & natalie merchant. i can remember listening to country music alot when i was younger, my mum loves it. i'm starting to enjoy more things lately, as well, i'm usually not a very negative person but i have been the past month or so. i'm starting to cook more, walk charlie & sonny everynight & there's so much more i want to do. next year i'm hoping to go travelling with some friends if they still want to. i just want to start enjoying life, jesus i'm only 17 like, not 70;) post comment
